Dear Lord,
Let me never feel again.
My father I pray,
For just one tiny death.
Dear God,
Take my emotions away.
Empty this shell,
as if it were your will.
Dear Lord, I pray
never let me love again.
Father, hear my pleas
never allow me to trust a man.
Creator, open my eyes
that I may never believe a lie again.
