Ninja vs Pirate?

I've heard a lot of people asking "Who would win in a fight? A ninja or a pirate?"
I think it's obvious a ninja would win. Pirates can't compete with ninja. Look at movies pirates always fight with swords and fight sword to sword. But ninjas also fight with swords but are so much faster and do a lot more moves. Also ninja know martial arts so if they lose the sword in the fight the can fight with the hands and feet. They also use shurikens and kunai knives. There is no way a pirate could fight that.
