9th Official FFR Tournament

Alright, its almost time for the tourny to start. I've never done a tourny log before, hehe. I'm really excited to play and as long as i do my best, i will have no regrets :D


Okay im like the laziest person ever, so im finally getting around to doing my log 3 weeks after the tournament started. I'll try to keep these updated from now on.

Division 6

Round 1, Guile of The Rime King

- I was so excited to play the first song of the official, then i totally mindblocked the burst. I gave up easily since it was only the first round and i was really safe with my blackflag.

Round 2, Great Battleship

- Luckily for me I've been practicing my wrist jack skills, the song requires consistency and i was pretty consistent with all the blackflags i got on this song, lol. I eventually got it down and grabbed the AAA.

Round 3, The Steel Monsters Above the City

- So this song is pretty technical, the rolls are definitely rage bait, I've always had a bad habit of not jumptrilling anything but it came in handy for this song. I just had to play it a couple times to get lucky on the last trill.

Round 4, Love Hurts

- Yay jumpstream! This kind of song is what i am good at, it was kind of tough to whore since its so fast and dense. Good thing D6 is kind of lazy this week so i dont have to improve my score.

Round 5, To luv me

- Ugggghhhhh poop. This song has everything im bad at plus troll trills. I really struggled on this song and i almost had ulcer since i was the cutoff the entire time T.T But i totally squeezed my way into top 8 :D

Round 6, Rave 5

- Hehehehehe, i got really lucky with this one, it has everything im good at rolled up into one file. It only took me a few playthroughs to get it down to 3 goods, now i can go back to my super secret training and prepare for next week.

Round 7, Japan Style Breakcore

- You cant blame me for not being able to get a score on this monster of a song. If i get passed the handjack wall, the tight jumpjacks, and the jumpstream that ends with a nasty jumptrill, then i totally derp the ending. lol
Round 7 Final Score, 17-0-2-5 (Eliminated!)

So i got eliminated in round 7, i tried my best and had tons of fun during the tournament. My goal was to make top 8 but i ended up getting 4th, so im very happy with how i did. ^_^ I wish good luck to raged berserker who is fighting it out in the final round against NekoGon and Safyre, and gg to preggs and ormix, my partners in crime.

Its been a blast, see you guys in the next tournament!
