Stupid double notes Posted on: November 4, 2010, at 06:57:25pm DO NOT WORK on my laptop. One note always has a lag, so i'll get a "perfect" and a "good". Also, this stupid game needs a calibration setup. I have to hit every note slightly early. If I hit the note PERFECTLY, it counts as a "good" |

This is because the response time on your computer is absolutely terrible and cannot handle games like this properly.
You have a laptop, which is not a very good for playing FFR in the first place. If you have Windows Vista on that laptop, you'll never play a song without BS lag, if it's XP or 7...you might be able to get away with altering the performance settings to increase processing speeds.

I'm glad that someone mentioned this. I know I experience lag from time to time, but maybe my laptop is affecting my game by doing more than that. I know I am having a terrible time nailing AAAs--and I am using XP. Thanks for the comments!

Mm, i have never had this problem and i play on my Laptop (Windows Vista.) Don't know what to say, but it sucks to hear that. Slam your laptop against the wall. That seems to work. ' -_-" from what I've heard.. lol'

Hah. I have the same deal here. Except I play it with the nbotes going down, instead of up, to better suit my style, and I always have to hit the note a little later than I would normally think. Doesn't affect too much~ But it's annoying.

I play on a laptop with windows vista, but I use a standalone player and combo masking when I play to get rid of the lag. Search the forum for a link to the Macromedia 8 standalone download and find the link for the standalone
