Deleting and changing name for a fresh start?

So I've been wanting to forget this username and I have acquired a new identity (Mipha), and I might as well want to change into that name. However, my progress on this account will all be lost, and I'm fairly reluctant to start over. Should I delete this account and remake a new one or just make another that I need to work with..?
