Tournament Round 3 D1

So I managed to AAA the third song within 25 minutes or so if it being released. I was pretty proud of that because I was the first to AAA it. I'm obviously improving at PAing. So all that is great and all..

But I felt this file was easier by a great amount compared to the other two. I mean.. This one I played it once and I'm like, I feel safe I can AAA it within a few days. I played it again and I'm like I can AAA it before tomorrow ends. I played it again and I AAAed it.

It seemed.. Too easy. So I'm kind of worried that I might have been lulled into a false sense of security with this personal win.

On the other hand, however, I am psyched to see how my newly found Rival (After Being the second to AAA just behind her), The Thong, does on this round. I have a strong feeling the top 10, if I can somehow make it, will consist of Me, The Thong, xMusicxMasterx, Trivalent, Kirbyman1990, Mukku, and Avion7 as well as a few others I have not figured out yet.

Although Trivalent doesn't have 1 of the other 2 songs AAA'ed I have a suspicious feeling that he/she plays the song a few times when it first comes out and is just confident (s)he will move on.

That being said, I'm super proud of being the first to AAA and I hope my suspicions are wrong concerning this round just being easier than the others. Best of luck to all and I can't wait for the next round!

I'm in the green zone now! Sight read it and AAA'd straight away. Round 3 song was definitely easier than the first two, or me and you are significantly improving. :) Now to wait another week for round 4. Best of luck to you too and see you on the flip side. :p

Glad to hear you made the cut :D!
Just the two of us now, but something tells me with your confirmation on my suspicion we shall be joined soon :D!
Impressive with the Sightread AAA :D! Very nice :D! I think we both are significantly improving but this was also an easier song. Haha, the waiting another week really gets to me but I'd much rather wait than not have my AAA! Just so anxious :D!

I'm flattered you think I'll do well. lol. I suck at the pattern near the end of that song. They tend to throw me off. But 7 goods on first run, so I should be able to clean it up to a BF or AAA. Here's hoping this tourney gets a little more intense. *cough*D4-AAA-cutoff*cough*

I know exactly which pattern you are talking about! Believe it or not, I actually danced along in my seat and that helped me get it.
But with 7 goods on the first run you should have no problem grabbing that AAA :D! And don't worry, the rounds definitely will get much more intense. I'm expecting to stop being able to AAA The songs either next round or the round after (Thinking we will get to difficult or very difficult songs by then.)
As for an AAA Cut off for us.. It can happen. God knows us D1 children skill boost like mad. So even if the rounds do get much harder we may be able to keep up :D! But I can't see myself AAAing an 8 or 9 at this point. Still seems impossible.
