Haven't used this random thoughts feature yet, but I saw other people doing this and thought it would be fun!
Its my first time playing in one of these events so I am excited to see how it goes! I got placed in Group 3 which seems fitting cause I am around a mid-D4.


Round 1: Jade Star [55] (AAA)

Somehow got a sightread AAA on this one. Though I did go back to get a better AAA cause my first one was done at midnight lmao.
Was a fan of the chart, and it was a great song choice. (Lots of streams and anchor patterns which I am a fan of. Bursts almost threw me off though!)


Round 2: Odin [62] (AAA)

Oh boy jacks! Probably one of my worst skill sets. Find it hard to be accurate on them and they tire me out. But the chart was fun, and the song is also good so hey I'm not complaining! Took me a bit longer to snag the AAA on this one. (~10 tries)


Round 3: Tired [64] (Blackflag)

I'm gonna be honest I have no clue how I got that BF run, every run since racks up at least 2 greats on the first gray roll section. My MA accuracy was poor but tbh I don't think I am getting anything better atp. I'm so confident in fact that I am writing this post on Sunday lmao.


Round 4: Frozen One [70] (1-0-0-2)

First of all, love this song, have had in on my main playlist for a while before this. Secondly, really fun chart, wasn't expecting the vocal dumps but it was a neat surprise. Could I have gone for the AAA, maybe, but I didn't wanna burn myself out. Might try to when I'm done with the tourney tho!


Round 5: Ichirin [74] (7-0-0-2)

Around 900 combo was this one section that racked up greats every time. Happy with my performance tho, was sitting at a solid 4th place at the end, which was my first time not being in the top 3 at the end of a round. Song was good too which has been a pattern in this group.

Round 6: The Audacity [76] (8-0-0-3)

Burst moment (good song and chart but yeah those bursts got me good)

Round 7: Creep [82] (36-0-7-11)

Saw this one and knew it would be my last. Bursts are my #1 weakness and boy was this chart stacked with them. Overall I'm still very happy with my performance this tourney, and I am excited to see how the top 3 fare against the final song. I also want to end this by saying that the song picks for all round in this group were really good, hats off to the charters!
