When the zombie gingerbread warriors arise from their burnt-baked graves:
Truffles, will sprout caramelized wings and take flight, ruling the very sky itself.
Bon-Bons shall break through their fine, gently-wrapped containment of sheer delectable elegance, and flood the land.

I have seen this in my mind's eye. And I fear for the long twizzled souls, of the Licorice.....
