Kelowna BC, Canada * Westbank* Fire

I dont even know where to start... I was on the other side of Canada when I got the news of this, and that my home was in the path of a Fire, so I started to look into it farther on castanet.net a News paper site. the fire was only 15 hectares at that time so I did not worry to much. but as I was driving back the radio was talking about it, and within 2 hours it had gone from 15 to 200 hectares... o_o;

2 days it took me to Drive back to BC to get home, and finding this out was not the worst part of that drive back. on the way back I was caught in a Storm, and a live power line fell over my Semi and trapped me for an Hour and a half, before emergence crews could come to me... -_-;;

Mother Nature hates me.

11,000 people have been evacuated and 6000 people are on standby I am one of the ones on standby, as this fire grows its now 425 hectares in size now, and there are 2 others in my area. so I am In the Middle of it all :( and the one I can see is only 8kms from my home down the mountain side.

6 years ago this city had a Firestorm in 2003, one of the Worst fires In Canada's History. I just hope this is not a Repeat of that Summer.
