(This is an intro for a vampire character of mine, Please feel free to give feedback! Thats the reason why I'm posting it here.)

He had spent ten years searching for answers to this, and all he ever came up was, yes, vampires could only cause death. Whether it be by their own hand, or someone’s that was after them.

Natalie....

She had said it wasn't his fault, she had said that during her last few moments on this earth. She had always believed he wasn't a monster, always believed there was more them than just causing death, but that wasn't true. He's killed more people than he could count, and he always regretted all that, and he stopped once he met her. But still those deaths caused him to have hunters after him, and if he'd never met her, she never would have been kidnapped by them, then that bullet wouldn't have been shot, and she wouldn't have taken it for him.

"I love you, Lucien"

That was the last thing she had said. if he'd never fallen in love with her, she wouldn't have died, she would still be alive, probably happy with someone else, a human man. Which was how it should have been.

Lucien sighed running a hand through his blond hair, it falling back into place around his midnight blue eye, before looking up at the stars, remembering times when they would lie in the grass in the park together, watching the stars, just holding each other whispering words of endearment to each other.

Solemn faced, he slowly stood up, walking down the sidewalk and out the park gates, kicking at a small rock, every where he looked, everything he saw, everything in this town reminded him of her. Thats why he left this damn town anyways, though even after ten years, nothing had changed.

Don't go Natalie....Don't die...Don't leave me...don't...."

He had begged her to stay, to hold on. He knew it was cruel , she was suffering so much, but she wasn't now.

He stopped suddenly, blinking back tears that were threatening to come, looking down at the ground. Though one made it, rolling down his cheek and falling unto sidewalk, and then another.

"Don't cry..."

How could he not? He loved her, and she had died because of him....protecting him. He had loved her, and he missed her. But she was never coming back, he would never see her again, never see her smile, or touch her soft hair, never...He missed her. God he missed her so much, and it was killing him.

Though, thats what he wanted. He wanted a hunter to stab him through the heart right now, or shoot him in head, decapitate him, anything! He wanted it to stop, the hurt...the pain of having to live with out her.

He wanted to die! He wanted to..... but he couldn't. He made a promise to her....that he wouldn't. But that promise was a no longer a promise...it was a curse. A cruel, cruel curse.

We are broken
and lost.
Where we have always fought.
Where the tears will forever fall and fall.

As everything disapears
we are still standing her.
As it all falls from the sky
as our souls die.
The tears will forever fall and fall.

In the silence
that we have come upon.
In the darkness that will overcome.
Were the shade's
of our pasts' now rule.

Now will it ever go back
to what it once was?
Will the stream of time
carry it all away?
Or will our restless spirits die?
And will the tears forever, fall, and fall.

I can't belive
it'll end like this
in sadness and woe.
We were once freinds
but now you are my greatest foe.

How can you leave here
Hurt and down.
Our whole lves falling down, from the sky.
How can you realese, my demon side.

I don't know how
I can be full of such hate
At the shadow's gate
can I deafeat this before it to late.

Could it be light will fall?
Could it be darkness will rule all. Or is there a way to stop this demon, even while the shadows call?

How could you still stand there? As I go down. How can you just laugh, as the demon destroy's every thing around.
Was this your plan all along.

But no matter what
the flame will die.
And no longer will the wind still carry truth's call.

Gone will be the light, and despair will take even the sky.
There is trully no way to stop my demon side.
