1st day of Track

Went pretty well. So i'll start from the beginning. After the last class of the day i head down to the track field and waited. As I waited, others from the previous year that were on the team came up and introduced themselves. Which was pretty nice to talk to. After probably 5 or 10 minutes, the coaches show'd up. One was for Sprinting, the next was The Head Coach, then the coach for the females. After alittle chat (wont get into) we started off with two laps around the track. Next we stretched for a few minutes then we got into some mild drills.

25 push-ups,
(few seconds brake),

25 sit-ups,
(few seconds brack),

10 push-ups,
(few seconds brake),

10 sit-ups,
(few seconds brake),

5 push-ups
(few seconds brake),

5 sit-ups
(few seconds brake).

Then we stretched some more. Right after, we ran another 2 laps. Next we got into some different kinds of running drills like: skipping, prancing, high knee, duck walking. Next we branched off into our catagories like: Sprinting and jumping together. Mid-long distance together. Boys and girls were seperated because the coaches think our hormones will go through the roof lol.

Me and two others went with the Sprint coach. He turned out to be a pretty nice guy. We did some drills and as we did them he gave us advice like: get our knees higher while we do prances, or learn to get the motion of our arms and strides corrected. Thats basically it without me giving to much stuff..i hope
