Before FFR/SM: In December 25, 2005, I started played DDR for the first time and get better at it.

When I first played Stepmania back in Fall 2006 (I played only index at the time), I have always thought that stepping simfiles is only meant for DDR pad steps. I never knew about keyboard stepping at the time.

In 2007, that's when I discover keyboard simfiles. At first, I hated it so bad, because it was hard as hell. I refused to step a keyboard simfile.

In 2008, that's when I actually started to move forward to keyboard stepping (didn't switch to spread just yet, but experimenting with it). However, I never knew about the rules of keyboard stepping such as PR, structure, layering etc. until later on in the year.

In 2009, that's when I finally switch to spread and stop stepping pad files. This is the year when I started to learn more about this community and more about the simfile eiltism. When I first applied these rules into stepping simfiles, I didn't like the style at all. It didn't feel like I was stepping the file. Overtime, I realized that I could not step the way I used to step. It was forever gone. Eventually, I moved on to get better at stepping simfiles "the technical way". Alternatively, I started to learn about stepping dump and viberating files. I loved stepping these kind files because I can ACTUALLY be creative with it instead of the techinical way. I still today step these kind of files, but in moderation.

In 2010, I really didn't accomplished much here, besides gaining more and more knowledge about the community, and getting better at stepping simfiles. I did started to submit a few more simfiles (all, if not most, got rejected). Because of 2 years of not understanding "techincal stepping/elitism", I started to slowly quit the community. Also, FFR was also down almost the whole year, so I moved to KBO.

In 2011, I learned about subjectivemanias/expressivemanias in a simfile and started to slowly move forward to expressive stepping (I'm still learning/experimenting this style atm). I begin to play touhou and eventally osu! Both games are hard, but it's worth the challenge.
