The joys of young love
Were all we had to give.
Without you i didn't know
How I'd be able to live.
You used to call me five minutes
After we hung up the phone,
And everyday I'll be thankful
I'd never have to be alone.
At first when I noticed change
I didn't see it as a big deal,
But all I want to know now,
Is our love for real?
At times it always seemed
As if we had it all,
That our love was here to stay,
But the caare you used to show
Was slowly fading away.
At first it was amazing
The way you made me feel,
But all I want to know now,
Is our love for real?
It's funny how your smile
Used to melt my heart,
But your charming personality
Had me captured from the start.
It's funny how your compliments
Are still running through my head,
But the insults that outnumbered them
Were the things I wish you' never said.
