UpdateItUp!

We cleared up many issues and plans moving forward with SpinItUp development today. We also made the decision to move to a 60 frame per second platform instead of a 30fps platform. This may cause a tiny bit more strain on really slow computers but we must think forward here over the next few years and do not want to be held down. The 60fps version is currently up and will be available if you clear your cache. Version .34 Alpha.

and..Game interface development has begun. We have contract Bemaniruler himself for this task and expect to see something soon.

Additionally, I would like to get another test song up for you guys to test some of the new wave modes.

  7. I had a lot of problems keeping my mouse in the window :P So a lot of the times I was missing, Just make the window bigger, maybe do away with the news at the bottom or so and then just leave the header so you can navigate the website? *shrugs* Just a suggestion. ^^

  12. Yeah I think it definately needs a larger space to move mouse around in (outside the ring especially)

  13. I’m still horrible at this. Even with the new version, I always end up at about 86%. The 60fps version runs much more smoothly, though, and my computer isn’t even any good. The notechart seems completely random through a lot of the song, but complaining about that at this point is ridiculous. I’m really looking forward to additions to this game.

    Are you ever going to update ffr so it can use all the different mods during single/multi player?

Sorry to be leaving so many comments, but since i cleared my cache to play the new SpinItUp, when i play a song in FFR, the first time, it plays music for about half of a second before it goes to the final screen saying i have 0 score on everything. After the first time it all works fine though.

    But it counts as a game played, and i dont really want 0′s to be in my averaged scores.

  19. You know what could be a nifty idea?

    I noticed how the white circle grows larger the higher the combo you get, so what if when it gets all the way to the outside [100 combo], it gives you either an overall 2% bonus [or something], or a temporary percentage bonus on all bars you hit as long as you hold the combo.

    And when you hit 100, the circle resets into the inside, and starts going outward again untill you hit 200, etc.

  24. Imply some clicking! That would spice it up and add challenging gameplay. This could go far.
