Winnipeg Is a Frozen Shithole (Xtreme2252)

- Offset's good.

I will not post my review any longer than my old review, so I'm just going to base off my review from this old submission: https://www.flashflashrevolution.com/batch_submission/batch/?id=2078

I feel like 98% of the key concerns of mine and the other judge has not been addressed so I will not waste time to reject this chart again. It just seems like a rehash of the old submission and make the spikes worse than the old one so my rating will not change. You're going to have go through the droves and rechart from the ground up in hopes that it will get in, if enough key concerns are addressed. [2/10]

The color theory here doesn't really work. I get that it's frozen, but I'm not sure why these notes are specifically white, these cyan, and so on, and especially why the rules change throughout the song. It also greatly hinders playability by obscuring the bursts' quantizations.

Compared to the previous submission, the most egregious patterns were indeed nerfed, but the remaining ones are not any better. This chart is more or less the same degree of awkwardness, just easier.

- The burst at 1:31 has a heavy jack at column 2 which is already fast on its own. It's also denser than what the music sounds like, and is unreadable due to its unorthodox coloring.
- The left hand at 1:41-1:42 is too awkward. 2122112 at this speed, with two minijacks in a row, is way too demanding at this speed even in isolation. And it's immediately preceded by 2121[12] which is less egregious but still awkward. Compare with Real Ultimate Power (similar BPM), for instance: for such a chart with minijacks almost everywhere, notice how most of their transitions go only as far as something like 12[12], and longer transitions have a bit longer breathing room before and after them. The "two minijacks in a row" patterns at note 893 and 1442 are completely isolated.
- 1:49 is a kind of pattern that easily costs a handful of Goods without it being really enjoyable or legitimately challenging, and has no quantization hint to rely on due to the coloring.

The list goes on and I'm not going to list them all, but especially 3:17-3:30 is not acceptable in any capacity.

I haven't playtested it yet, but I imagine it might actually be playable at a lower rate. Unfortunately, it doesn't scale well to 1.0x. Once a chart enters 100+ in difficulty, the physical limit of human hands comes into play and it's so easy to go over the top and make unfair stuffs - and I think that's why I consider 100+ to be the hardest difficulty range to tackle. I say this as someone who once badly flopped a (released!) mid-100s chart, so shameful that I essentially removed it from the game.

(RE: Mipha's comment on making the spikes worse, it seems the actual reason why the peak NPS increased is because 3:38 changed from hands to quads)
