Puff Love :: FFR Batch Submission
Deamerai - Puff Love - Pogo [7.5 / 10]
17th Official Tournament

Released
Pogo Block

Fairly abstract approach to a Pogo song (no not that kind of abstract), trying to variate the patterns despite the song being consistently repetitive.

Skill Token idea:
Play 3 unique songs in a row that contain "Love" in the title. Each song must over 2 minutes.

✔️ This chart has been marked as final and shouldn't receive any more changes.

7.611/27.405/1:06.993/etc - Kinda surprised you didn't do a mini-jumpjack on this given that your rule is - anything higher would be nerfed to jumptrill
9.621-9.776 - Kinda surprised you didn't do [24][13][24] instead. Similar thing on 1:28.642-1:28.951
10.826/etc - Why color these jumps white?
56.786-57.328 - No part of this mini-jumpjack should be on the [1] side since it doesn't have the [1] noise. Compare 36.993-37.534
1:20.524 - Should be [24] instead of 3
2:03.127- Should change this to [134] to lessen the [2] anchor
2:04.518-2:23.075 - Why did you stop putting hands on the claps?

>>Straightforward & mostly consistent

Judge Score: 7.50 - Change Recommended

- 12.251: Are you following the bass here? You're not following the bass in instances like 6.220, 6.375 etc.
- 24.313: Could put these 2 jumps on a different column since they're different in pitch from 24.003.
- 26.014: How is this different from 6.220?
- 41.014: Could put on [3] to avoid the unnecessarily long anchor.
- 113.849: This pattern felt a bit spiky compared to the rest of the chart to me, but it's fine.
- 122.663: This anchor felt too long and arbitrarily so.

Good chart, a bit too long and repetitive for my taste, but at least the song is enjoyable to listen to. It was a bit hard for me to discern what constituted a jack or a jumptrill, but all good you need some variety in a song like this.

Judge Score: 7.50 - Accepted

Need a reminder for myself to go over the notes of this submission eventually

ositzxz369:

7.611/27.405/66.993/etc - I see no reason to do minijacks here given the patterns are supposed to be more burst-ish
10.826/etc - The kick here is off-beat if you pay attention close enough on low rates
80.524 - No it shouldn't, in all previous segments this note is a single note and prioritizes the bleep rather than the kick
123.127 - Fixed
124.518-143.075 - They are different clap sounds if you pay attention closely enough

M0nkeyz:

12.251 - Yes, this part felt more empty to me compared to the other one so I added an "additive" note there
24.313 - They are the same pitch. The kick is slightly more loaded on 24.003 so it sounds a little bit "different"
26.014 - It's not that different, I guess I added that as additional flavor to this section since more is starting to happen there
41.014 - Would not flow well to me
122.663 - Fixed in ositz note
