Fading Memories (Mipha) [7.5/10]

PERMS OK
SYNC MAYBE OK (First note is clearly off by about 16ms, and many other notes seem to have similar variance both early and late. BPM is strange too for a single bpm chart. For a song with so few notes, it'd be kinda expected to have tighter sync.)

*Note: The audio file shows a strange blocky highpass, please make sure this is the best quality available.

46.470: PR, better on col 2.

54.941: This echoed note is quite clear relative to some other more subtle notes that are charted such as 58.661 for example.

1:05.479: This is even more subtle, almost inaudible really. It's fine to leave it in, but then 54.941 and 1:08.165 should absolutely be added then. Otherwise remove them all.

Bit weird to judge, this one. The chart itself is neat and has a neat progressive difficulty increase which is totally fine for the short length. Do check for sync on the more apparent offsync notes if you can, although the variance isn't egregious so it's not a big deal.

Judge Score: 7.50 - Change Recommended

40.271: I moved the 39.444 instead.

Op:

Regarding the audio:
- This song is definitely a strange one, since it never actually happened to have that blocky high-pass filter on AV waveform. The source audio was compiled onto a website called KHInsider: album is listed here. (would recommend getting the videogame audio files from these, they do source flacs from the original CD albums too.)
- What's weird is that downloading both the .flac and .mp3s seems to yield about the same audio output, due to the song being more echo and reverb-y so it doesn't really improve much on where I stand. At the very least, I can only accomodate for the sync (which you've pointed is already fixed, and strangely enough it's consistent BPM to the end, so the piano played in this is more likely a live record or some sort.)

46.470: Moved to 2.
54.941: Added this as well as 1:08.165.

Thank you for the notes!
