GARY III (jh05013) [8.5/10]

PERMS OK
SYNC OK

12.540-34.737: This whole section is a bit underwhelming; the very strong bass hits are easy singles throughout, yet the only non-trivial parts are the weird burpy sounds lol (the short stream bursts). The layering could be increased a bit here.

45.488: Since this is so different, a (23)(14)(23) could be interesting.

1:32.135: This 32nd flam feels weird to play.

1:47.742: Missing note.

2:04.570: There should probably be some note(s) between this and the 4th.

2:15.661: Hand?

2:25.893 & 2:26.182 & 2:26.760: Missing notes

Really fun chart given the variety of the fun little isolated rhythm variations. Great job.

48.609-51.384 - Spice up the file by putting jumps on the 8ths/12ths
1:19.303-1:20.517 - Not filling this section with broken 16th gallops?
1:38.898-1:41.326/etc - Alternatively, could’ve done purely minijacks on this type of sections
2:04.563 - What noise is this note going to?
2:06.297/2:09.072 - No jump?

>>Straightforward & consistent

Thanks for the notes.

- 12.540-34.737 changed to mostly jumps + hands.
- 45.488 changed to (23)(14)(23).
- 48.609-51.384 felt weaker than 37.858-39.939, etc. so they are singles.
- 1:19.303-1:20.517 - I can hear some 16ths, but I think they are a part of the instrument that I'm not stepping here.
- 1:32.135 - Yeah I felt the same; a primary reason for me was because they last shorter than what they really sound like, so I changed them to 24ths. Also tweaked a pattern a bit to flow more naturally.
- 1:38.898-1:41.326 - Each note has a slightly different pitch. Tweaked a bit to match PR.
- 1:47.742 added.
- 2:04.476 and 2:04.650 were missing notes, so added.
- 2:04.563 was meant to be a "come on!" shout in the middle of drums, but since there is also a drum here anyway, I colored it back to red.
- 2:06.297, 2:09.072, 2:15.661, etc. are layered like those since they don't have guitar sounds.
- 2:25.893 added, but not hearing anything at 2:26.182 and 2:26.760.
