(Reject)

- The bursts are too long in alot of places, take 9.516 for example where he says ''I'm'' which lasts till about 9.611, yet there's another note at 9.702.
- There's not really a clear distinction between vocals and other elements like hi-hats.
- 11.658: Why the sudden switch to 32nd notes and why is this filled in as opposed to the section at 10.087 - 10.658?
- 30.087 - 30.658: These jacks feel really excessive to me for a sound that's not that different from the rest of the song.
- 48.658: This giant anchor seems a bit arbitrary.

I'll stop here to avoid making a giant list of notes, but I think this file could use some polish. It feels very spiky and intensity wise doesn't feel super accurate to the music.

Reject, I don't think this is really a dump that FFR is willing to take in for now. The layering scheme is very very difficult to follow because the vocals are followed in many different ways that are also variable in difficulty and intensity. I think the big issue for me is that the intensity of most of these patterns really don't follow the syllables well throughout the chart.

Additionally,
* The continuous nature of the chart also makes it particularly confusing since there isn't any chord or rhythm or pattern that clearly emphasises some of the stronger parts of the song like vocals. There are some minijacks and some faster bursts, but they're very short and often times don't follow the song granularly. There are some very light bits like 21.229 to 27.515 which didn't make much sense.

* In general I really didn't like how the main difficulty of the chart stems from a relatively quiet synth section (the continuous 48th handstreams) rather than the chorus.

It might be worth sending this again when it's clearer as to what appropriate FFR dumps look like, but as is I don't think this fits the mold of a conventional FFR-styled dump at all.

REJECT.

This is a pretty interesting one imo. I personally quite enjoy this relatively old-school style of abstract charting where many quantizations are used to better relate to the intensity of the vocals.

That being said, there are some major points of concern in the execution of this chart:

1. The long 48ths streams. These are far too intense for the song in these sections, especially with their pretty abrasive patterning (contains arbitrary minitrills).

2. The abstract charting has too many inconsistencies as is. See 10.658 for example where "teers" lands on 10.801 (a 16th) but the 24ths are started on the preceding 8th. Or also 30.087 where column 2 is super busy with different speed jacks without justification.

Overall pretty good sense of the typical very loose charting of older "dump charts", but lacking execution to make it FFR viable.

I disagree with the reject but w/e since the main jist of the chart follows the vocals, not the synths. Also, guess won't be resubbing this since I don't want to just send what seems to be a "viable FFR dump". Dumps are supposed to be more expressive and not follow a particular meta. But thanks for the feedback anyways.

This is a reject for me.

I can see what you're going for when you said you are following the vocals, but the switch-ups between 24ths and 32ths are used a bit haphazardly, and some of the minijacks felt a bit nasty when there's no precedence about it having a musical cue into.

The back half of the song is fine to me, but there's also the concern of being "spiky", even though I can immediately tell what the 48th streams and some of the busy jump layering and forces into minijack at times.

Sure, dumps can be expressive as it can be, but there's also the line between expressive and making sense with the consistency per each sound you've dumped into it (not going from 24ths to experiment the vocals to a sudden 32nd or 48th whenever the song "feels" like it.)

Thank you for your submission to the dump batch! Don't forget dump files can also be sent/resubmitted to any regular batch.
