REJECT.

The excessive use of (12)(12) and (34)(34) really stands out and often breaks PR significantly for very little motif coherence. That same charting decision really constrains the variety of the patterns and given that the song is already pretty repetitive, this doesn't help it too much. The 16th jumps such as 44.937 have very little musical relevance too, so they feel a bit forced. The consistency is definitely great and would make for a nice stamina test, but imo this needs a bit more originality.

(FR)

This chart is quite solid and consistent and a fun stamina challenge for D5/D6 players. FR for the 16th jumps that start @44.937, willing to move to accept if you can clarify why they're there.

- 39.709: Why jump? No synth.
- 43.651: Jump?
- 44.937, 46.309 (etc): Not sure what these 16th jumps are for.
- 66.451: I would just make this a jump, alot of the non-vocal 4ths are jumps later on in this section as well.
- 72.794: Why jump? No kick/snare/vocals
- 87.537: I would just make this a jump to the rim shot.
- 109.137: I didn't have any issues with PR in the rest of the chart, but I think having PR on these 5 notes is quite important since it's the last impression the player has before completing the chart. The PR is something like A B C D C

I'll put this file as an Accept.

This file is also the one I'm not too sure and it's hovering between FR or Accept - it's consistent, very straight-forward but I have about the same points that M0nkeyz pointed out, which are:

- Given the synth/melody gets the forefront of how the jumpstream is constructed in the first 45 seconds, these two jumps could be changed into singles -> 28.737 and 39.708.
- 1:27.537 and 1:27.880 - these could be jumps as well to the rim and the slight melody in the background.
- There are also some liberties taken with the 16th jumps you've added after the 45-second mark, but sometimes it's a bit confusing in comparison to the first 45 seconds where you've consistently applied jumps to the synth, so it gets a bit lost. I wouldn't mind this approach in my eyes, it's just a smaller concern overall.
- I do agree with the PR on the last 5 notes, can be applied very easily. (1->2->3->4->3)

Those points are not a deal-breaker to me, but it can definitely be clarified a bit. As a short jumpstream file, it's acceptable to me.

Accept

Don't really have any major complaints here. Pretty straightforward stuff.

Only somewhat agree with the common sentiment regarding the 16th jumps. They seem weird but to me are an effective touch of flavour in an otherwise somewhat bland but blissfully short jumpstream file.

Moving to Accept

Thank you for your submission to the dump batch! Don't forget dump files can also be sent/resubmitted to any regular batch.

Thanks for the notes. The 16th jumps are indeed ghost but they're intentionally done to differentiate those sections from the choruses without the additional guitar instrumentation. I couldn't layer the guitar accurately because of how heavy the synth layering is (I'd end up with chains of 3 16th jumps often), so I ended up adding 16th jumps to the hi-hat rhythms instead to increase layering. It's an odd layering decision and I understand why judges would be confused by this since the idea is more conceptual than not regardless.

I don't have any comments about the motif part because there's very clearly a motif if you've pointed out that the same layering decision was done throughout -- the patterning choices were deliberate and I think is most evident with the minitrills throughout. The chart isn't PR'd at all so I get the concern with the [12][12]/[34][34] patterns and how it can come off as jarring, but I'm using less PR in a conventional sense and more of using the same patterns mechanically (albeit mirrored, inversed, etc.) for the same leitmotif throughout.

I applied everything else M0nkeyz and Mipha applied except for 1:27.537 and 1:27.880 because I didn't think they were different enough from hi-hats to be layered as doubles.
