goreshit perms according to v8 thread yayyy. lowercase is intentional. 219 bpm dense JS with light hand usage.

was thinking this would be too straightforward for OT usage but it's pretty hard. there's a good balance of tech and really nasty JS so feel free if you need something in the upper 90s range lol

(Playtest Impression)(0.8x Rate) Pretty standard dense js/hs file, seems alright.

10.113/14.497/23.264/other repeats - You can include a note here on the 32nd, though given the (neat!) increasing burst structure here you might opt to put 24ths here (starting on the 8th prior to this and going to the 4th) even though they’re not -strictly technically- accurate. Ignore this note entirely or tweak it either suggested way, your choice.
**31.038/31.175/39.120 - jump?
**43.914-78.982 - Go through the js to make sure the jumps are accurately placed to what you want to emphasize. 45.900 and 50.284 and numerous such repeats are a 16th early compared to what you’ve been following previously in the section. Unless I’m missing something, this appears to be an error.
78.982-96.243 - You might be able to make this section more interesting, even without putting in drum 16ths, by using “jacks”/clever anchoring to accent the drums here
83.366/87.750/92.133 - why hand?
**96.517-131.585 - same note as 43.914
131.585-end - same suggestion as 78.982 note

Plays and flows pretty well but highly suggest the **’d tweaks for layering consistency/accuracy. This will otherwise be a solid addition to FFR’s js catalogue.

11.311/11.722/15.695/16.106/31.174/38.708/etc - Missing jump
21.996/etc - Should be single
28.389/37.156/etc - This 24th sounds closer to 16th snap (e.g. change to 28.366, 37.133/etc)
*43.914-1:18.982/1:36.516-2:11.585 - What noises are the jumps/hands going to during the jumpstream?
1:36.516 - Could cut the song here; it’s just a repeat of the previous section after this point.

>>Le jumpstream file. CQ/FR for the questionable layering on the jumpstream.

The emphasis for the jump usage is unfortunately not consistent from measure to measure during the JS/HS sections...thanks goreshit. I do have some jumps that are accidentally placed a 16th early, but not quite the ones that you listed. This is a bit of a silly song all over the place and a nightmare to layer well lmao

@ositz The jump usage lands on the high notes in the arpeggio melodies that are being played throughout everything starting from 44 seconds in. The hand usage is meant to follow the chord progression.

Making edits at the moment, I'll be keeping the full length though as this is intended to test consistency and part of that is being able to hit the handstream twice. That being said, I have some ideas on how to make the streams more interesting (layering the vocals where they are present, and working around that with a similar layering style like following the synth. It's a very a-typically layered JS chart but that's fully the intention.

fixes. As far as the jump layering in the streams go, any inconsistencies are intentional at this point. Also went ahead and changed the layering in the 2nd half of each run to follow the vocals, alternating back to following the "high notes" when the vocals are not present. it looks like a mess but it makes sense and a few people playtested with positive feedback.

A new chart file was uploaded with the following changes:
----------
Note Count changed: 2525 => 2600
AVG NPS changed: 17.06081 => 17.57153
Hand Bias changed: -7 => -24

The reason given for the unorthodox layering in the JS is acceptable by Trumaestro and I. CQ/FR will be removed.
