Children of Bodom
Wanted to let you guys know that I got put in touch with their manager and this is what he said:
"Hi guys, we'd love for you to do "Hellhounds On My Trail" for this. Let me know if that works for you and if you need anything on our end to get it done (paperwork, etc) Thanks!" Asked him for an mp3, and he'll get that for me tomorrow. So you guys have a new CoB track to step, if you want. There seemed to be a lot of desire for this. Enjoy.

Re: Children of Bodom
They've only given us permission to step certain songs? We can't step whichever ones we want?

no, you can't step whichever ones you want. generally speaking, large bands will NEVER give a blanket permission.
actually, as a general rule, large bands will NEVER give permission. the exception to this is when they need/want promotion. then we provide a unique and different form of exposure for the band and the song(s) they're looking to promote. it would appear CoB also wants to promote Hellhounds on my Trail in addition to Blooddrunk.

Re: Children of Bodom
****, they could've said Tie My Rope. That's easily the best song on the album.
It would also be nice to re-step Blooddrunk, to be honest. That file wasn't even close to correct. Last edited by foilman8805; 08-4-2008 at 04:53 PM.. |
