playing ffr or stepmania on the street for cash?

i was just thinking of a random idea since i was bored. but what if you went to a city and put some raggy clothes that looked like you were poor. brought a laptop and put out a hat for money and played stepmania. i think it would be an interesting site to see, and to see how much money you get. youd have to do it in a relatively safe city so your laptop doesnt get broken though. I might try this sometime if im bored haha.

Your obviously faking the poor part if you have a laptop. That makes no sense, but if you can manage to get cash for it, I'd be like wow.

For me doing it, won't happen! I play the game just for the sake of playing it and nothing else! Your obviously begging for money and your just showing off. Not alot of respect at all.

wow i knew this would happen about the laptop, everybody just has to find some reason to ask about the laptop and make multiple posts. just wear regular clothes then.

Hook it up to external speakers if you can. It would attract more attention that way.

I doubt you would get money for this though. Hey, worth a shot though I suppose.

Besides the poor-with-a-laptop incongruity, this idea is hilarious and really makes me want to go do it. =)

Maybe just scratch the raggy clothes and try it anyway? If you do, make sure you tell us the result...

If you're going to dress poor, make sure you smell. Try wrestling with a pack of wet dogs, or simply not take a shower for a month or two. That'll get the job done.

Where I live we have Saturday and Tuesday markets where people can just set up whatever and make money off of it. A bunch of people I know made $20 playing instruments they didn't know how to play. If you're actually good at SM it doesn't sound too hard. I'm to self conscious about playing games like SM and FFR openly, haha. Oh and I suck.

Not a bad idea, but if you did that **** in my city you would not only get beating the hell up for playing ffr but you will also get mugged, stripped, raped, and then basically destroyed. But by all means do it anyway, sounds like a plan.

Well, as everyone else has stated. The dressing up as a poor person and then having a laptop would be dumb, for lack of a better word. And I highly doubt people would pay you money to see you play Step Mania or FFR. But it sounds like a fun idea to try anyway. If you do end up doing this, good luck to you, poppet.
