Add settings, show top 25 (maybe 50) at results & allow for larger multiplayer games

Settings: I am primarily an index player but have to switch between spread and index for some songs, which results in me alternating between the setup QWOP and L;P' depending on the song. If settings were at the song results screen it would make playing a given song repeatedly easier because I wouldn't have to deal with going back to the main menu to change my song.

Top 25 (or 50): The top 10 was significant back when FFR had a very small number of people, but FFR is so huge now that lots of players simply don't have the time or talent to get to the top 10. The top 10 comprises a very small number of people while the top 25 or top 50 would allow for greater incentive to improve in skill and play the game more. For example, I know that being able to view the top 200 on several score listings and see where a rival of mine such as Izzy is placed makes me more likely to play that song until I'm ranked higher. :P

Larger multiplayer games: Instead of 1v1, how about an O2Jam-style multiplayer game where it lists the results of the game based on score? Also, I think you should increase the spectator count to 16 instead of 5.

key-mapper suggestion is solid... but again, likely won't be addressed until 3rd style. we all find it a bit annoying to have to exit to change auto-fail settings or whatever and then go back to the same song.

you mean like 1st style? where the top50 would sprawl over the entire game? is that really better? it isn't clean, that's for sure. either way... again, not something that will be addressed in 2nd style.

the MP issue is already planned for 3rd style.

1.) I don't mind exiting to change my keys. Then again, I'm primarily spread so I don't really have a say in this.

2.) Once again, this isn't really necessary. It's fine how it is.

3.) I don't know what 02Jam-Style MP is but it would be awesome to play against more members. The spectating doesn't matter but probably will for 3rd style.

1.) Same as EA. Don't really mind having to deal with that--but spread players don't have a big say on that.

2.) I think that having a top25 would be sufficient for a site at this size--seeing as how if you look at the songs that are FMO or FGO, you see a lot of the same people.

3.) Would that be like having a SMO style scoreboard, where you can see certain things on your screen like score/combo/etc.? If so, I'm all for that. 16 spectator slots? Maybe. It's not very often where the slots are used to that extent--but I definitely agree that it should be more than 5. Maybe like 8-10? But as far as more than two players in a room going against each other? YES.

All the out-of-game stat pages display the top 200 scores for the song. You can tell what place you're in in-game by the ranking number that appears. If you really want to see who is directly in and around you on the song, you can go to the song's page and see there.

As I said... more than 2 people in 1 MP room has already been planned for 3rd style. We'd like to allow up to as many as 16 or 20 to play at once in 1 game (stats only), or 4 people to play with full arrows showing of all 4.

While we are at MP, I have thought on something like, letting the spectators see the arrows while the players are playing. It would be more kewlz.

find it funny how suggestions like key-switching in the score results screen is replied to quickly by admins while minor things like changing quality in the score screen is not talked about.
