TWG: A Haunted mansion, Maze 1
Players: PICK YOUR DESTINY Any amount. for every 4 humans there will be 1 wolf. This will be rounded down (7 humans = 1 wolf. 8 humans = 2 wolves.) The Turns: 1)Turn right- 2)Turn left- 3)Go downstairs- 4)Follow group- 5)Stay put- 6)Go upstairs- 7)Turn back- 8)Go out window- 9)Down trapdoor- 10)Start over- What the Turns can do: 1)Do not go to next phase. Try again. 2)Go to next phase. 3)Seer (go to next phase) 4)Guard (go to next phase) 5)Start from the beginning of the maze (stay in phase) 6)Extra vote during next day (go to next phase) 7)If you stay with group you get the same thing that the majority of the players gets. Sample Game: Night 1: Host PM: You are walking down a hall all alone and see a faint source of light coming from ahead. You run towards it and see 5 new paths. A trapdoor near your feet, empty hallways to the left and right, a winding staircase going up, and a group of people a little ahead. Which path do you take. The path results, done at random (the player does not know this): Option 1-Go down the trapdoor- You do not go to the next phase. Option 2-Turn left- You advance to the next phase. Option 3-Turn right- You have received a seering ability for the next phase. Option 4-Take the staircase- Uh oh, you back to the start of the maze. Option 5-Follow group- The majority said that the group is going to... Player PM: I choose to do y action. Option 1-Host PM (went down trap door): You are now in a dark room and can't see light... as far as you know it's still the night. You did not advance to phase z. Wait until phase p starts to advance to phase z. Option 2-Host PM (turned left): You turn left into a blindingly bright hallway. The sun has risen and you're safe. You have reached phase z. You may now vote. Option 3-Host PM (turned right): You turn to the right and down a corridor. You have received a seering power for phase z. You have reached phase z and may now vote. Option 4-Host PM (took staircase up): The winding stair case turns into a slide.. "whooaaaaaaa". You're back at the start. You did not reach the next phase. Wait until the start of phase p until you advance to phase z. Option 5-Host PM (Followed group): The group decides to go left. Congratulations, your entire group has reached phase z. You may now vote. Day 1/Repeat Night 1 Options 1 Player on thread: I'm not in this phase, I'm not aloud to vote because I took the wrong turn. Option 2-Player on thread: I made it to this phase, I vote for player f. Option 3-Player on thread: I made it to this phase, I vote for player f. Player PM to Host: I choose to seer player k. Option 4- Player on thread: I'm not in this phase, I'm not aloud to vote because I took the wrong turn. Option 5- Player on thread: I made it to this phase, I vote for player f. TWG: Ancient Darkness: Book 1, Wolf Brother
A shadow attacks the forest. None can stand against it. Then comes the listener. He fights with air, and speaks with silence. The Listener, gives his heart's blood to the Mountain. And the shadow is crushed. 15-20 Players 4-5 Wolves- Possessed Bear- As long as s/he is alive they know whoever possess The Nanuak given out during out during each night (this power does not follow the person, but goes to the next receiver). Hord- A regular wolf except that 36 hours from the death of the possessed bear his role will be automatically given to The Listener. Soul Eater 1, Crippled Man- S/he is the Master Wolf. The Walker- A regular wolf. The Hunter (Optional)- A regular wolf. 4-6 Blues (1 cursed) Torak, The Listener- A slight combination of the seer and my own invention. The Listener (as named in the book) cannot be killed be the wolves. If Torak receives all 3 of the Nanuaks he is able to find and kill the bear (indirectly killing hord). Knows no other players roles at all except what s/he deduces on their own. Fa, The Wolf Clan Mage- Starts out with The Lamp and as a mason. Dies on the first night. Wolf- The guardian. Renn- Starts out as a lone wolf, knowing no others, by the end of the night 1, if they're still alive, this player 'turns good' and into a mason. Fin-Kidden (optional)- Starts out as a lone wolf, knowing no others, by the end of the day 1, if they're still alive, this player 'turns good' and into a mason. Sauenn (optional)- Starts out as a lone wolf, knowing no others, by the end of the night 2, if they're still alive, this player 'turns good' and into a mason with seering powers. Only gets these powers when s/he turns into a mason. Humans (random clan members form the forest) Bat Clan member, Mountain Hare Clan member, Boar Clan member, Viper Clan member, Salmon Clan member, Lynx Clan member, Sea Eagle Clan member, Nanuaks- Deepest of all, the drowned sight. Oldest of all, the stone that bite. Coldest of all, the darkest light: The river eyes The tooth shaped stone The lamp Character descriptions: Possessed Bear, Character Description: The Soul Eaters, searching for ever more power, trapped a demon inside of this bear. Now its sole purpose is destroy the living. Hord, Character Description: A member of the Raven Clan, when this adolescent was on an annual trip to stay briefly with another tribe he unknowingly assisted in the creation of the bear (he hunted it and brought it to the Crippled Man). Soul Eater, Character Description: This person is a member of a group known as The Soul Eaters. This is the individual who trapped the demon inside of the bear. The Walker, Character Description: A random person that Torak and Renn encounter on their journey. He terrorizes them and forces them from "his" part of the forest. The Hunter, Character Description: Just a person used to fill this slot. Torak, The Listener, Character Description: The main character, Torak, travels with his companion, Wolf, through the forest in search of completing his father's dying wish. Wolf, Character Description: Torak's companion throughout the story. Torak raises Wolf since he was a cub and Wolf loyally assists Torak in his journey. Renn, Character Description: Renn joins the team a ways into the story. At first she is evil and tries to kill Torak, but with more information she sees in order to save the forest and its inhabitants she must help him and befriends him. Fin-Kidden, Character Description: The leader of the Raven Clan and Fa's best friend, Fin-Kidden also seemingly starts out trying to kill Torak but later gives him everything needed to kill the Bear and rejoices with him. Sauenn, Character Description: The Mage of the Raven Clan, Saeunn knows all of the prophecy and the Bear and how to defeat them. She is on Torak's side... eventually. The river eyes, Description: Deepest of all, the drowned sight. Two rocks that Torak finds in a river bed after nearly drowning. The tooth shaped stone, Description: Oldest of all, the stone that bite. On The Walker's instructions Torak finds this tooth shaped stone in the deepest part of a cave. The lamp, Description: Coldest of all, the darkest light. Torak and Wolf find this lamp in the arm's of a man frozen to death in a snow filled cave (the last light you see before you die). I reccommend you guys at least read this book if you like to read, it's a really good book. I'm looking for the sequel. |

Re: TWG LX Host Signups
16+ players (must be an even number)
All Players are masons except the “Nice guy”. -Wolves 1) Rejected- This poor person was rejected by the love his life. Now he seeks revenge. His sole misson in life is to hunt down and find the person his lover left him for. Has master wolf qualities. Specialness to this wolf though. If their supposed to be lynched, it will take 2 lynchings to kill them because the "dumped" will sacrafice its life for him/her. To avoid direct suspicion 2 regular humans have the same special power, they don't know it though. With the “dumped wolf”. 2) -Dumped- Dumped by the person he thought he was in love, this person has now fallen in love with the "rejected". This person is so much in love that if the "rejected" is chosen to be killed the "dumped" will lose his life for the "rejected" instead. With the “rejected wolf”. 3) -Cheated- This person was cheated on and is plotting a slow, cold vengeance. Having been once with a human, he seeks his revenge. He knows the name of the seer (but won't get it until day 3). With the “abused wolf” 4) -Abused- This person has a tolerance level. After being abused enough times it will blow up (not literally) and accidently kill someone. This person could be anyone; human, wolf, or blue. They must PM me at the start of the game telling me if they want to use their power selectively or randomly. If they choose selectively then they will keep their power during their life-span, but if they die they lose it. If they use it randomly then I'll pick a night (at random) for the power to be used. It will work on that night wether they're alive or dead. With the “cheated wolf” -Blues 5) Seducer- Basically just the guardian. This person is with the User. 6) "The nice guy" To take general suspcion off of the "dumped" and "rejected" wolves, this human has will die if the "seducer" OR the "user” is attacked (during the day). This person is also like a third wheel, they’re not with anyone so the hookers temptations don’t affect them. 7) User- The seer. This person is with the the Seducer. The Hooker- Mmmk, this one’s cool. A hooker will appear to 1 player per phase and temp them. They will offer them to take their goods (an item of the following) or not. If the player chooses to take it there is a 50/50 chance that the persons lover will find out. If the lover finds out, the player who took from the hooker will be killed in addition to the normal day phase. To add insult to injury, the “goods” will be stolen by the person cheated on and they will possess them. The hooker gets to pick from the items list the item they’d like to propose to a person of their choice. A regular human seered green. With the “Pimp”. 9) The Pimp- Runs the franchise and gives the hooker 3 of the 5 items to pick from to give out. With the “hooker”. 10-x) 6+ regular humans, all in a relationship. The Hooker’s Goods Franchise: Store # 287726 - The Handcuffs- Will let your vote count for 2 on an even numbered day and 3 on a odd day. - The Whip- Gives you a vigi power. - Fluffy Pillow- Will give you such a good nights sleep you’ll wake up the next day with a refreshed feeling enough to.. oh lets say... Save yourself from being lynched! - The Condom (faulty)- You won’t know it but this condom is faulty. You’ll be asked if you want a condom, it could be the faulty one or the regular one. The faulty condom will impregnate the hooker and your lover will find out (the hooker doesn’t know which one either). - The condom (regular)- will protect you from a death (either phase) or your lover finding out that you took the hookers goods. So an example would look like this: x<--------->x x<--------->x x<--------->x x<--------->x x<--------->x x x<--------->x x<--------->x Last edited by rzr; 02-29-2008 at 07:28 AM.. |

hey, guys, how about I make 937421 complicated games and post them all in the same thread to see if anyone takes any interest! Not trying to be unfair to others by having thrice as many games as them, or anything! really!

Stick to GB of you're just going to be an ass. Just because people enjoy making and hosting games that are a little more complicated than you can comprehend doesn't mean you need to criticize them.

Re: TWG LX Host Signups
p.s the games now have become so technical that it's not a matter of wit or interpersonal skill anymore (the core of TWG!). Games have become a race to find out what cog moved what cog and when. Cogs don't have personalities. Go figure, I don't play here anymore because games seem to have lost that touch.

Re: TWG LX Host Signups
And how many of the simplistic games get voted for? Hardly any. I'm not going to argue with you here, it's a waste of space. Anything else you have to say can be PM'd to me and we can maturely approach this. If you don't like that idea, too bad.

Re: TWG LX Host Signups
I'm sure people wouldn't turn down a simple yet intuitive game. YOur views are rather superficial and your attitude is quite annoying - you've been here a couple of months and now assume you know everything about game design and playing TWG. Like I said, get off your high-horse - you lack experience.
If DBP or Iggy were to come show up I'd do the same. |
