Re: New Gaming Rig.
Haha, I would get more ram (Ł40 for 2GB) but right now I'm alright with 2Gb..And Plus I can only use 3GB because I'm on XP..And I'm buying the orange box this weekend anyway. I hope.
Btw this was my birthday AND christmas present..

Re: New Gaming Rig.
I can't wait until I save up enough money for a kick ass comp, trying to get a job for this reason atm.

Re: New Gaming Rig.
It's pretty decent for the price, but you could always go a bit bigger on the monitor. I had a 19" standard and my current 22" widescreen and they were $10 apart, so I chose to spend 10 more dollars for 3 inches

Re: New Gaming Rig.
Really nice man. Just sort of expensive. If that's what you want, then I hope you enjoy it.

Re: New Gaming Rig.
2GB is more than enough RAM. Unless you're doing something like video editing which requires a lot of RAM.
What OS are you running? You play the same games as me. :P |

Re: New Gaming Rig.
All that on a 450W PSU? Seems a little underpowered. I would have gone bigger...Maybe 600W.
And I'm not a fan of Radeon GPUs either. Not too bad though

Re: New Gaming Rig.
Let me answer these from top-bottom.
fido1------Wait....WAIT...Fido? Okay just answer the question Sam... Fido123 - I don't need a job when I have a dad who gets $3.5k a month. Too bad he's leaving. That's why I popped the big "daaad..Can I have $600?" lmfao. roundbox - It's not the size that matters. It's the quality. And right now this is big enough and WELL MINTED. But a bigger size in the same series would be nice. PS : Futurama Rocks. I've got all the seasons on DVDs. Problems - This PC is my baby. My soul has been confined to the case. meno_rocks123 - meh @ xp, and I'll check that mouse out. I need one. spinal_compression - well I use sony vegas and stuff and vegas crashes when I open 3.9GB fraps files. So I open them in virtual dub, compress them to 80mb, and then edit them in vegas. But I am considering more ram. I'm running XP Professional. I don't want vista. Really? Add me on steam then, UKnight, I'd be more than happy to 1v1 you on CSS or something else :P. Sh4d0wr34p3r666 (purposely) - Lots of people underestimate how much they need. I'm using about 200w right now. And I like both, but I like the Catalyst that you get with ATi GPU's , and I can OC it to 3870 capabilities. Also 4xCrossfire is nice. And GeForce (Nvidia) updates their GPU's too fast. Especially if you get money like once a year like me. Lmfao.

Re: New Gaming Rig.
MX Revolution what more like G5
also for a gaming rig that isn't very expensive, but it's not super top of the line either, will definitely get the job done though. I spent a bit over $2k last October when my PFD came in woop woop |

Re: New Gaming Rig.
Mushkin?
I'm fine with my corsair, besides if I switched I'd have to replace all the ram. You can't mix like a sweet shop .
