Nintendo DS help

so im thinking about buying a nintendo ds. i just want a players review on it before i consider buying one though (i have tried the nintendo website and i couldnt find much good information). I would like to know what some good games are, how far the online play goes (ive heard that it can only go up to 100 feet), and if it is overall worth the money.
