The Pylons are TRAP BALLS is the worst song I have ever heard in my entire life. It is a devastating abomination of the Earth's inhabitants and it is probably the reason for everything bad that has ever happened to our earth.

A 300-pound lady in her nineties could sing Britney Spears' song Toxic and it would sound better than Pylons. You could repeatedly stab my parents or brothers until they die, and I would watch you do that rather than play Pylons again. Hell, you could put me in a torture chamber for three years and I would come out saying, "Well, look on the bright side; at least they didn't force me to listen to that Pylons song in there!" If the world just exploded and every human being except me died and all I had to do for the rest of my life was float in space, I'd say, "Thank God that the Pylons song has been wiped off of existence."

To all the people who have by some miracle managed to pull through the pure evil of the song and unlock Dawn, you are GODS. You have managed to sit through - and get good PA on - the worst song of all humanity. I wish I were you, as I have played the song a good 20+ times now, and haven't managed to even come all that close to unlocking Dawn, because the damn song is so erratic and doesn't really stay with any sort of beat. The steps themselves are fine, but the song just makes me want to kill myself, and I almost cry everytime I play the song.

If by some miracle I ever do get Dawn, I'll only be more depressed, because I'll know in my head that I actually am enough obsessed with FFR to ruin my life of music forever just to unlock a stupid skill token. I can't listen to any music now without imagining Pylons in my head, and wanting to kill someone, preferably myself. Drugs (no matter what kind or no matter what the dosage) would never make anyone sound even a tenth as bad as that horrid "song".

Ok. Now that I've expressed how much I hate that horrific song, I can go back to being tortured by it knowing that I've done the song justice.

Turn sound off. You generally do better without sound anyway. But I agree. Pylons was funny when it first came out (the song, not the file), but songs like that get old fast.

Well, I seem to do worse with the sound off in this case, because the song has such weird steps and I need some sort of beat to keep me going. I've already gotten close, but I felt that if I vented my anger, I'd get a little less mad at the song while playing it. And my PA actually has improved since I posted this

It follows a distinct beat, and IMO the stepfile is both bad, and yet suits the song perfectly.

However, instead of bitching, just turn the sound off. Your inability to unlock Dawn is probably based more on your lack off FFR skills than how good of a song PYLONS is.

Well, I thought that it would be just because I wasn't good enough, but if I can SDG Challenging songs and nearly AAA Very Difficult songs, why is it so hard for me to get 546/550 perfects on a short Difficult song?

OK, actually now that I think about it....for many other people who are very good this was also hard to get. It probably has to do with the overly-repetative steps.

Yah, it's an exaggerated rant. And whatever "distinct" beat it follows I can't figure it out, because I seem to get Goods out of what I was 100% positive to have absolutely perfectly in the rhythm.

i unlocked dawn and it took me several dozen tries. just hearing the word pylons annoyed me everytime i had to retry. i couldnt turn off the sound because i needed the beat of the song. after unlocking dawn, i dont care as much.

I think what I'm screwing up on is that there are so many freaking noises going on, and they're not 100% in time with each other? I don't know, it sounds to me like different parts of the song are on different tempos o_0

Arabesque does that too. The beats in the background are ahead of the melody.

Well, I don't know. All I know is that the song sucks and it's impossible to unlock Dawn unless you are a god.
