Look at their scores

If they have full combos, and reasonable perfects/goods, then yes, they did it normally.

If they're like that bard guy on a couple of songs and they have all perfects, they cheated.

If you think the first option cheated, wow, you must suck really bad then.

Oh yeah, most songs people have fully comboed, maybe Rondo Alla Turca is the only one not fully comboed yet.... maybe.... i doubt it..... probably not..... no chance every one has been fully comboed.

If I could play any of the hard songs on here in stepmania, I could full combo them with ease.

Maybe if you ask Synth very nicely he would give you the .dwi files. But it wouldn't be right playing them on stepmania, the timings for Perfect and Good would be all wrong.

Uh no, it would be right playing them in stepmania. There are no timings for perfects and "goods", because they are DWIs thus ddr stepfiles. What is stepmania? A ddr simulator. What is FFR currently? A ddr simulator. Don't even try to argue on how "FFR is FFR, not DDR" because it has a different timing system and that's it, I've heard that before and it's BS, FFR is exactly DDR with a bad missing system.

Have you even played DDR? And not some newbie light mode, I'm talking tourney-serious PA where people have to SDG(single digit great) or AAA catas to win

A good is like a great and a perfect is like a perfect, except FFR has the timing so that Perfect is more like a flashing great or a marvelous and good is more like a perfect, and average is like a bad mix between goods and greats

This is DDR

Marvelous(courses only)
Perfect
Great
Good
Boo
Miss

This is FFR

Perfect
Good
Average
Miss

This is IIDX

Great
Great
Good
Boo
Poor

Perfects in FFR are more like Great, I play all three. Now unless you make some kind of system where the current goods are changed to perfects and the current perfects are changed to "Excellent!!" or something, then my current opinion stands.

Oh, and don't try to bring up that beatmania crap either, play beatmania before you say anything, I have beatmania 6th+core at home and IIDX 6th style at home and live in the same city with a 3rd style and believe me you do NOT get poors or boos when you hit a note when there are none on the screen/within 2 bars

(note to mods: tell me if I did any flaming and I'll edit it)

Default Cheaters

Its because of all the cheaters that are out there...Recently I have found out that a lot of people (probably all of the top scorers) have been getting a couple of their friends to help them out. They will each take one key and will only have to worry about one section wile playing FFR. I wish that the creators would find out a way to detect that, but it is probably impossible...It just pisses me off because it ruins the game for people who try to get on the high scores by themselves and actually have skill and practice to get what they desire...I think that most all the people on the high scores that appear over and over again do this. Screw you slackers, you ruin the game...

I used to try that long ago but trust me it doesn't work. It makes it harder, much harder. Believe it or not, when you're concentrating on only 1 or 2 you tend to mess up more. Even on Mario, I tried doing that and ended up missing one or two. Doing that only makes the game harder as strange as that may seem.

It's called Gear. Check the sig for an example of how it can be used.

Yeah obviously. It's the cmod and off syncness that makes the difference.

And btw nice job bumping a 3 year old topic stlunatic :P

And... the timing for a perfect is like a flashing great on IIDX? LOL... The perfect timing on ffr is ridiculously easy... I even hit late or early all the time and can EASILY tell and I still get perfects sometimes (not late or early in reference to onsyncness I know that most of the songs are offsync... I mean late or early in reference to the sync of the song)... Timing on ffr is easiest of all three by far :S If anything it should be way stricter lol.

And the boos when there are no arrows on the screen or within two bars? I believe they did that in order to stop people from mashing and full comboing songs (since the current combo system would have lead to that easily being first in that case)... I guess they did that so atleast they'd get some penalty if they did mash like 200+ boos and others didn't.

Perfect isn't like a flashing great or marvelous lmao... Marvelous on ddr is like a judge 5.7ish marvelous on sm and flashing great is insanely strict as well... Perfect on FFR is EXTREMELY lenient. Even with the low bpms, offsyncess of songs, etc. alot of mediocre sm etc. players have no problems getting no greats on fairly difficult songs, etc.
I agree.
