I don't know what to call it in musical terms.. but after listening for some reason, I get the feeling that it lacks depth.

It's a good song though, very upbeat. Could I step this for FFR?

All I have to say about the depth comment is that the complexity in this song is very subtle. For example, for the subtle panning on the melody synth I used a new dynamic LFO based plug-in that I just recently found. I also applied a subtle amount of a dithered effect to the melody line, to try and get that old skool gritty digi like sound. I feel I should have applied that a bit more heavily though.
