Default MIDI

The only music-creating software I actually have is a MIDI program called Noteworthy Composer. Do you think it's silly to make "serious" songs using MIDIs, and then using Audacity to do the voice and export as mp3? I've made a few and they don't sound too bad, but you can tell it's MIDI.

It's a good way to start composing music, since there are plenty of free decent MIDI sequencers out there, but you ultimately want to step up to a decent program after a while.

MIDI keyboards essentially use MIDI to playback samples of whatever you want, so MIDIs are definitely not unimportant.
