FFR Pens For Sale

Ok people, during the Live Broadcast of Synth I asked him about his plans for the upcoming 4 Year or 5 Year Anniversary Members of FFR. As an idea, I suggested that he make personalized ballpoint pens that read:

FFR Oldies: 4 Years

or

FFR Oldies: 5 Years

for example. Of course he said that it would bankrupt him which isn't true. Say we get pen templates that cost $.57 to personalize. Then Synth gets Jason to compile a list of the people and it's about......100 people.

$.57 x 100 = $57.

That's not a lot of money. Then when he tests out the pen on the Members for a gift, he can then start selling the pens by the bundles in the FFR Store and make a profit. God knows, that these things would sell like hot cakes since you get more than one for a pretty cheap price.

So anyone like this idea?

He shouldnt give them away, because he's already letting us playing the game for free.
But I think it would be awesome if they were sold in the store.
Id buy one if they were cool.

They are only gifts to those who deserve it Frank. Then he sells them for a profit. Simple economics.

Im at 3.99 years... i like the idea, but it would be difficult to decide who would get the 'gift'.

For example many have no idea who i am. yet this is my homepage and i view the fourms daily and enjoy the community greatly. and I for one would love a pen! there are a few thousand users regetsered before me... how do you decide who is active enough...

True, but if he only sold them in the store, the people that have been around for a long time would probly buy one. So he wouldnt be looseing any money giving them away, he would profit much more. And everyone that wanted one would have one. Simple economics.

Anyways, he has a list of the people who joined 4 years ago so he could just check that... But I guess a lot more work would have to be involved now that I think about it a little more.

I also came up with the idea that Synth has yearly pens. You know:

-1 Year
-2 Years
-3 Years
etc.

That way, it's not just the 3 to 4 year olds who get the Pens. And who is to say that the Pens will even say that? Knowing Synth, he'd put his own touch on the message itself.

The pens could be sold by the bundle like 10 pens for $5.70, 20 pens for $11.40, and so on and so forth.

What about one that says "Registered about 3 and a half years ago while at a friends house, was terrible at FFR, quit for 2 years and re-registered 1.12 years ago" ?
