Italy vs. USA

The game just finished 5 min. ago i cannot believe how incredibly bad this game was! It ended with a 1-1 tie just because Zaccardo from Italy scored on his own net!!! And the referee gave out 3 RED cards in the game. 2 to US and 1 to Italy!!! And also, the goal that US thought they scored...did not count!! The ref said that it was offside because the player on the offside position impeded the goalie's view! Of course, I'm a referee myself and i know that was an the ONLY good call the ref made. This was the worst game i've ever seen...and it was all because of the ref!!

What do u guys think about the game??

I agree 100% ref sucked us didnt deserve either red, US got screwed over

I know what you mean. Being a fellow referee, I had to explain that rule to all of my friends who thought it was a bad call. I'm really dissapointed with the game as a whole, but atleast the US played much better this game. Unfortunately the chances of them advancing are now very little, but after Czech losing to Ghana, there is atleast a chance now.

As for the cards, That ref did a terrible job. I understand, or atleast think, that FIFA is trying to crack down on all that junk, but he still went above and beyond with it... and not in a good way.

All in all, atleast the Us came out with 1 point isntead of losing and getting nothing. Now they need to go big against Ghana and hope for Italy to do the same against the Czechs.

US needs to win thats a fact
With that win they need

A. An italy win... thats all
B. An italy tie and make up of 3 goals in differencial to beat out Czech
C. An italy lose and make up of 4 goal differencial (i say 4 because although italy is up 5 now a lose would mean at least 1 goal minus)
