That isn't sad, it's pathetic.

RE: This really saddened me a bit.
I agree, I think that they should have federal people checking the rides, it makes it safer.

RE: This really saddened me a bit.
Now THATS what you call a Thrill Ride.
out of seriousness, dont they have an age limit for those kind of rides? I blame the mother for lack of responsibility. Think about it: you're going on a ride that has a large amount of G forces (maybe 5?) that simulates what REAL LIFE ADULT astronauts feel when leaving the earth in their own space shuttle. Would you seriously want to bring a 4 year old kid with you on a ride like that? Common sense people. And im sure before you enter the ride theres a warning about motion sickness or extreme G forces. Come on now.

RE: This really saddened me a bit.
Well, the reason this saddened me so much was because yesterday i witnessed a death and death has been on my mind lately.

I guess that proves that people can die by doing pretty much anything (under certain circumstances). There's even a warning label on the keyboard i'm typing on.

Hahaha, what a loser.
We don't need safer roller coasters. Honestly. Who brings a 4 year old to a roller coaster anyway? They have signs that say you must be a certain height and weight for a reason, jackasses. Stop being morons and take some godamn responsibility. |

The 4 year old had premission to go on, because he was tall enough to go on.
I went on that ride... all the people around me got motion sickness. It's a "mission to mars" launch. You first go up like a rocket, then it twists you, bends you, and spins you in a really strong force. So of course this kind of thing would happen. People should be aware of it. Older people went on, and ended up in the hospital with chest pains. I think they should have an age limit. These kind of things happen all the time. In splash mountain, there are no seat belts, and you have to go through 3 big waterfalls. There is a risk of flying out of you seat. I went on it, set in the first seat, and guess what? i survived. Two people died on that ride, but you have to follow instructions, and not HOLD YOUR HANDS UP, while going down the waterfall. You have to be responsible, so don't get upset about it. It was the mother's fault, she should have paid more attention, and look around.

Still, didn't the parents think he was a little too young for a thrill ride?
Add another requirement, Age of 7. |

Honestly, it is the parents fault. Who would send a 4 year old into space? Holy shit people. The fact that they let the kid on there saddened me. GG Falc, you showed us what America is made of.

Despite being 4, he met the height requirements for the ride. I don't think that there were weight requiremtns, though.

Disney's "Mission: Space" simulates a rocket launch and trip to Mars
Some people aren't meant to go on a rocket launch and trip to Mars. Taking a trip to space is not a thing that every one needs to be doing it, because bursting out of the Earth's Atmosphere is an intense process. Therefore, you must be pysically fit, which some people aren't. |

RE: Re: RE: This really saddened me a bit.
First of all, they don't need to make these rides safer... The ride itself was safe for a normal adult...
It's like taking a pregnant woman on a roller coaster... You're just begging for trouble =\ Honestly, people are stupid, its just that simple... "Hmmmmmmmmm, this movie Sin City looks good, lets take my 6 year old child who has never been exposed to violence to see it... thats a good idea, lets do that!" As for car accidents, I witness one too... I didn't actually see the accident, I probably got there a few minutes after it happened... The husband FLEW THROUGH the windshield, and the wife splattered her head into the steering wheel... looked lovely... spectacular, breathtaking :P
