Default Dream Express

My mixing headphones broke recently so I'm not quite sure how good this sounds, but oh well.

I like the transition from :24 to :26, but it sounds empty.

By that I mean, there is a faint white noise for the first 24 seconds, then it seemingly disappears for two seconds and in comes the song. That, combined with the awkward click in that time gap, makes it feel like two separate tracks instead of one continuous track.

Other than that, your crashes sound a bit too full of noise. I suggest you EQ the very very top band so it slopes off at a high frequency. This should give you a strong crash and reduce the feedback sound that's ruining the crash.

As for the song, I like it a lot! Great time signatures and fills on the percussion, awesome arrangement of instruments. Besides the things I'm picky about above, I give this track an A!

I'm aware of this but couldn't do anything about it - the white noise is prevalent in every single note in the music box VST I use, and so are the clicks and whatnot. I'm assuming they're there for added realism or something but it honestly just bugged me. I was considering letting the guitars fade in during this time to take attention away from the white noise and clicking, but I never ended up doing it because I'm fat and useless.

I really hope this is just your headphones acting spooky, because I've already done this and I believe I have the crashes where I want them. That said, the high-end probably sucks on the cans I'm using right now so it's likely that I have no idea what I'm doing. My mixing phones are being repaired but I have no idea when I'll get them back. Tohoho.

The rhythm is Shreddage X. It's very affordable and really really good compared to everything else available except Prominy LPC which costs like a real mid-end guitar.
The lead is RealLPC by MusicLab. It's really good but expensive as hell so I haven't been able to purchase it yet. Don't tell anyone. :I

I actually like the white noise and clicking during the introduction. As you said, it added realism to the song. If you wanted to, you could blend the two segments the way they are by just adding a 2 second gap of white noise that matches the rest.

Also, no worries, apparently I was smoking crack when I mentioned the crashes. They're fine. Lol.
