Which is better?
What graphics do you like better for the Legend of Zelda games on the Gamecube: The realistic or the cartoon graphics?....personally I like the cartoon graphics better...

Does my choice in how I arrange my sentence make me an idiot?
Well, maybe in some cases, yes, but.... .... I CHALLENGE YOU TO A DUEL! |

personally, i like for each for the different games they were used in...Oot had semi-realistic graphics because link was both a child and adult, and it just fit the tone a little more...in the wind waker you had a child link, in a sea-world, and i just think the cel-shading worked better there...it's always been my thought that if they do another game like OoT where you are a child for part, and an adult for part, that they should have cel-shading for the time you're a child, and have it switch to realistic whenever you were an adult...i think that would be very cool

i say if they use older link it should be realistic and if they use young link it should be cartoon.

Technically Wind Waker wasn't about Link. It was a kid who dressed, acted, looked, and pretty much was the duplicate of Link but NOT Link. A descendant according to the storyline.
So the game with the real Link should be much better. Wind Waker's cartoon-like storyline did make it insanely fun however. When a game is too serious it actually gets a little boring. ~Squeek |

Almost all games use a different link, except for the Orcarnia of Time and Majora's Mask pairing, and the Wind Waker and the new game pairing.

Zelda does stuff only one time in each game. She does one thing that helps kill the boss. The rest of the game she's either kidnapped or doesn't know who she is. That's about it. But that's all she needs to be to have a healthy storyline. It's the same with Princess Peach in the mario games anyway. She generally does nothing except she doesn't help you on the final boss.
By the way, has anybody gotten 100% Nintendo Gallery on Wind Waker? My friend was trying to do it but I took it away when he had like 10 left. It was annoying. The final pictures were of Puppet Ganon and Ganon. Meaning in order to check if they were good enough pictures he would have had to play all the way through to the part where you get a boat just to see if they were valid. That means going through the Forsaken Fortress all over again. Now I'm ranting. Whatever. I'm leaving now. ~Squeek |
