Keyboard Issues
I've been using a standard laptop kb for almost a year now but I seem to be dropping a lot of notes lately (misses or goods) and it's getting really frustrating when I'm in the middle of a good run. The problem happens at random.. difficulty of the song doesn't necessarily matter (see replays below) but the keyboard tends to drop notes more often on denser songs.
Here's a couple replays if you don't get what I mean by dropping notes. I don't really care about these songs in particular since I just start over and usually get the AAA but I did miss out on oni about a week an a half ago because of this problem. I'm looking for any kind of suggestions and wondering if it's because my kb is fried or if it's my key set-up that still needs to be worked in (ERUI.. getting on to 2 weeks now). |

Re: Keyboard Issues
If it happens on other key setups than you should just go buy a new keyboard and use that.
Personally, I find it extremely difficult to play on laptop keyboards. But I guess that's just me. |

Re: Keyboard Issues
I had this same exact problem with a rubber portable keyboard I bought a year ago.
It started with the problem you had, then those keys completely stopped working and I had to keep changing my play style until eventually only the 1, 2, I and + keys worked. lol |

Re: Keyboard Issues
I have a rubber usb keyboard too but it's pretty bad, no where near key smashing material lol..
so, been messing around and I'm getting much more consistency from wider set-ups but I find it really uncomfortable.. gonna have to get used to it |

Re: Keyboard Issues
If you don't want to get a new keyboard, I'd suggest finding a new key setup.
If you can't play good with any other setup, then you MIGHT just have to get a new keyboard after all. |
