Dey bwoke 'em
alrighty, so the place i go to play DDR used to have 2 machines, MAX2 and Extreme. well, i loved going there and playing all the time on both machines, but a while back somebody dropped DDR Extreme off the back of the truck when they were moving it from another location back to its home area where i play. needless to say, it broke.
but, there was still MAX2, which i played on all the time. well, my mom, who works at this place where i play, comes home today and is like "Noah, I figured you oughta know: the DDR machine at work broke today." WTF!?!? now i have no way to play DDR, and it makes me mad. i bet some lazy moron who works there (all but a few of the people working there are lazy morons) destroyed it! i swear, if they dont fix it or get a new one, i will go on a rampage...or something, idunno WHY DID THEY BREAK IT!? ARGH!!! this topic is for letting my frustration out...i dont even care if people reply...

Um... No sympathy here. The CPU in our machine got completely fried, and nobody here really cares. It's back in business now, and.. Well to be honest we're kinda glum it is. Probably because we're all waiting for In The Groove to arrive at our arcade ^_^

Anyhow, that must totally suck. First the EXTREME, then the MAX2. I would personally be much more pissed off about the MAX2, because in the city I live in, every single god damn machine is Extreme, except for one which would be a 5th mix. We used to have a 4th mix plus but it was then upgraded...grarr... Too bad, but I wouldn't worry too much about it, after losing 2 DDR machines, the arcade is bound to either get it fixed or get a new one, otherwise they'd be losing quite a bit of money... The arcade I go to, there are tons of people who go there for the sole purpose of playing DDR.

well, the DDR wasnt bringing in a whole lot of business, and the place isnt JUST an arcade. it's a "family entertainment center" complete with arcade, laser tag, gokarts, and pizza. yeah, a fun place, but i only go to play DDR (and an occasional laser tag).

i guess...i've seen people do that, but most of them really suck. they're still in the stages where they look retarded, ya know, with their hands in half fists held up close to their chest, and they stand on the left arrow and hit the other 3 with their right foot. unless they're left-handed, then they stand on the right. haha, newbs are fun to watch. although, it does get kind of annoying when they're around and i wanna play doubles, because i dont wanna use up the entire machine when they may wanna play.

LOL What I hate are the cocky 18 yearold sk8ter boi punks aaahahah. They think they're so tall and great just because they can play standard. Then here's this 5'3" 13 yearold asian girl comin up asking "can I play?" and I get the whole "are you sure?" treatment keke. It's actually fun playing with n00bs and seeing their reactions. Start off by picking the same difficulty level as them, and let them pick the song. Then afterwards, swing out some heavy 8/9 footers and they'll just freak. It's actually really fun to see their reactions on how they flip out

or if they kinda know what they're doing, put it on Light to match them, but then turn on Mirror and Stealth and get a higher score than them. i was there a couple days before it broke, and this cocky guy was playing and his girlfriend was watching, and David (a guy that works there and plays DDR) was like "man, if i was him i would not sit there and be failing easy songs while my girlfriend watched." but yeah, sometimes i'll be tired and play Light songs and do not too great, so then i'm like, ok, rested up, Heavy Drop Out 2x with Hidden and Dark on time.
