SDXC - The Future of SD

Recently learned of the SDXC classification of SD flash memory cards.

The data capacities for these are beyond my ability to comprehend lol.

A MicroSD card capable of 2TB of data with a theoretical 300MB/s transfer rate... wow... Definitely something I hope to see released soon though the 2TB version will be like $1000 at first I'm sure but a year later... $80 lol. Just watch.

It isn't even just a 2tb card that's mind blowing its the fact that its a micro****ing sd card that's bat**** ****ing insane. 2tb of memory literally on your finger tip

Also on a side note, I'm not sure since I haven't done my research but are SSD's based around the same flash tech as SD cards? If so... based on scale of physical size and if you could format this properly, would you be able to have an SSD theoretically able to have the capacity of over 4000TB??? Again I say IF you could format that...

for 64GB+ SD cards this feature is needed anyways.

especially vid recording needs more capacity.
