First time posting scores (Index)

This is a copypasta job from ODI, but I threw my other screencaps on the end because this is my first time posting scores here:

Just confirming that I play Index

Index is dead. I knew it years ago, but since my goal is to become the fastest ever I just keep playing and playing to reach that goal. I can't do jumpstream. TOML is too hard. MSWGO rapes me.





Death Reveals B. I wanted to make a video of this so I had to video myself playing it 3 times consecutively. I got B's every time I played it, so looking forward to an A on this at some point.




Disregard B. Only 2nd time B'ing, want to really bring this up too. Actually, come to think of it, I've still only passed this under 10 times =/




I really love to play this song, but the first half before the stream hates me.




Vertex Delta A. This was ****ing cool. When I got it I jumped around the room for a minute or so. I don't think anyone gets pumped over Stepmania anymore ;_;




Corporal Jigsaw Quandary A. No jumps. I got a video of this, but any part outside of the stream is lame, so not sure if worth uploading.




Vertex Gamma C. Mirror, No Jumps. Probably the hardest thing I have ever passed. Need to practice the jumps, but this is definitely, DEFINITELY passable on index.



Honestly, I think I am reaching the end of indexing ability. I hardly know any songs between 300 and 320 to play, and I was pretty certain that at this point emphasis had changed to spread, so no more index files. I'm still testing what is "physically possible" beyond 300. I played Kang's Gaussian Mist Part One on Heavy on 1.2x rate, and I was able to get all the way up to the crossovers at the end before dying, but like I said I need to find more files to test on.

What I'll probably do is start making files and some music to play around with. Apparently Sibelius is good for synthesizing piano music, so will get something going there.

Frenzy AA. I have 4 gr 1 miss on this now with 106 perf.



Let Them Move AA. My best is 2 gr with more NCs than this but when I'm going for timing I don't look at noncombos.




Disregard 0.8x rate. An AAA would be super sugoi.

I only know of Tear and Blurk's Disregards

Blurk's is all trilly

Tear's has some 150 jumpstream at the start then digs into one massive 300bpm 16th stream, then 2 smaller ones, then a break, then a set of 16th trills and another small stream. There is a crossover during the "break period".

Unless you're addressing someone else?

dude honestly, you're not gonna find a lot of reputable indexers on FFR, very few people play solely index and those that do definitely aren't good enough to pass disregard and AA sharpest

One main dif in frr and sm is you can hit arrows randomly and you wont get boos and in ffr you cant lol

you clearly dont know what you're talking about. you can mash and full combo stuff in ffr, but mashing in usually makes you get a ton of goods/boos

matt, Tear's Disregard has the same banner for both F5 and HSMP1 packs iirc.


also, qopwepop, try Realities for us: Izzy's, Toph's and Reach's. All of them are featured in some HSMP, I don't remember which one.
with your speed, I honestly think you can at least FC Toph's, it has the easiest patterns for indexers.
oh, and don't forget the old Eruption.

I appreciate your frankness. I've been looking for a really long time around forums just to see if there was anyone who was still really really into Index. I have alot of respect for Squeesfan because he was really the only other serious Indexer who made me want to get better (even though his emphasis was on jumpstream). I still wish to surpass Anobody.

I was told a rumor once by Koushiro (does anybody know this name) that Anobody has a folder of screenshots that he never posted on the internet. I assume they were things that were far beyond whatever he did post, so I still have to automatically assume that he is faster and has better timing than I do.

Izzy's I randomly AA'd. I don't like it because there aren't enough candlesteps (ULD, URD, DRU or DLU) patterns to keep me on time

Reach's has those crossovers at the end. I really, really don't like them, but for all intents and purposes maybe under 15 greats with a ton of ncs

Eruption I can't FC. 240 is a tough speed to MA for me (not too fast but not too slow either). I get wrecked in the scales after the tower, and the trills are annoying. Maybe a 95 or 96 on it, though, with ~30 greats and 4 ncs and <alot> of perfs (180)

You can get boos in SM by mashing. And it's not cool to hijack threads with even ****tier scores.
