Mothers Day!

So, what did everyone get their mothers? (: It's my first mothers day this year and I got a few books that I wanted and crabs. Sadly, the crabs died last night. And no, not THOSE kind of crabs. I got my mom a nice card and a necklace :3

i took my wife to her moms house and when we were coming back, i had a friend go into my house, fill the bathtub up with lavender bubble stuff and rose petals and lit candles all around the tub. i got her a boquet of flowers and had them sitting on the toilet with cards from me and my daughter and a trail of petals from the bathroom to the main door.

i got my mom a new fish, but it died on the way home from getting it...what a shame.

My mom wanted to go play laser tag... So that's what we did. I had fun, I know she had a blast. I also got her a card this morning, which I think she really liked.

Yesterday, I asked my mom if she'd be content with receiving crack for mother's day...she told me 'that would be the best gift ever!', although she may have been sarcastic...

...oh well, she got it anyways

Mothers day was in March here and I became a Mum in April, so I missed out. Lame.

We took my mom out for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. :]

Really expensive, but we had a gift card for $150, so it was all good. My brothers and I also took turns writing something thoughtful in a journal for her. We're doing it as a tradition every Mother's Day so she can read it when she grows old. xP
