Agreed! MAKE THIS HAPPEN! getting under 30 goods is not gonna happen for me. i'm really gonna have to whore till Tuesday, and i'd love to get some good nights rest soon :P but mabye i shouldn't have taken such a long break... ****ing Minecraft did this to me.

how did the deciding of placements go about in the Tourny Divisions? by activity/gameplay? or by FC'S AAA'S and Tier Points and such?

They looked at each song in your level ranks. (Well, maybe not each. Like if they see a FMO AAA, they probably aren't going to be looking at your level 1 songs. But you get the point.)

Do you see how in the bottom right corner in every post there is the "quote" button? Next to that button is the smaller multi-quote button, it's the one with the double quote mark and plus symbol on it. Click that for every post you want to quote in your post. You'll know you hit it if it is orange. Hitting it again toggles whether to quote or not to quote. When you are finished selecting posts, just hit the post reply and all the posts you selected should be quoted. This multi-quote feature also works on posts on different pages, so you don't have to worry about the multi-quote "forgetting" your selections every time you go to a new page.

I should probably point out why AAA/FC/etc counts don't matter. The number of AAA's a person have isn't a good deciding factor because someone may be too lazy to go get the lower level files where as someone else may strive to get all the AAAs they can. FC's don't really mean anything because you can go and get 343/45/0/3245645y3658475 on something but then say get 1/0/1/0 on it. Obviously the person who didn't FC is more skilled at the song. Overall rank is nothing more than how much you've whored the game and finally Tier pts and average rank is in the same boat as AAAs, some people go after it some don't.

From my own personal observations so far, there are a good number of people that do seem to be rather misplaced. For example, I've talked to and seen people in D4 (and I use D4 as an example because that's the division I'm in) that struggle with the D4 song on a pretty large scale and in the same respect, have scores on the D3 song that while not AAAs, are still slightly more competitive worthy.

Speaking from a strictly competitive point of view, it's not very fun seeing your bracket full of people that frankly can't compete. It goes from "Oh yay, there's 76 people in my division, this might be fun!" to "Oh, there's only like 10 people that actually belong here"

This isn't my first tournament, nor will it be my last...But I've never seen such a huge disparity of skill in some of the brackets. If it takes a bit of the fun out of it for me, and I like to think of myself near the top-end of my bracket, I can only imagine how it makes those people feel.

And before the "lolskillboost" argument, that's all fine and well come late in the tournament and yes, it does happen...But I feel like that particular argument was over-played for some of the people that are currently at just about the best level they're going to be for a bit.
