Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
I have about 3 people willing to record also people in the past have recorded talent shows at my high school so I don't think that would be a problem.

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
It'd be cool to play a cool sounding one too, as i think its gonna be broadcast in the auditorium right?
I think it would be sweet to play kanon-kanon or bowser the shredder. These files are a little technical, but would be crowdpleasers.

great progressive difficulty build up like rushy said. Hell, maybe everyone will be so impressed they'll want an encore then you can do ambient angels lol EDIT: just a thought, if you're playing on R3 turn off "amazing accuracy" so that way in case they look at your PA count at the end it will look more impressive lmao Last edited by ssbmchamp; 12-14-2015 at 09:56 AM.. |

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
pmuch fuck amazings forever IMO, I don't even do marvs on SM
Slower speedmods are more fun to watch, so it's a bonus if you don't play on 3.5x or something

those two files are just so perfect for showcasing except for the cutoff. They are still great files to showoff though

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
I don't think their abrupt endings matter that much

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
Alright I guess that's that, I have narrowed it down to 3 songs and I will be picking which one I'm going to use for auditions today. I will pick the song later on today before auditions and I will tell you guys if I make it into the talent show. Auditions are today and tomorrow and people apparently just walking in for them so there might be too much people for one day. So if you don't hear from me today then you will be hearing from me tomorrow to see if I made the cut.
Edit: Whoops almost forgot. I will also be giving out the credits later today so please be patient.

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
right now at this exact moment I am at the talent show. I asked the teacher in charge if he could get the the projector. He said he did but he cant get the projector screen so dreams may be rip. He is talking to people..... 3 minutes later he came and told me to play and I did. I was going to play serenade but I accidentally played Vertex beta because I was playing that before I left. He said come back tomorrow and see what he could do.

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
He said to play the song again, watched me play it again and said that this looks 100% fake. He asked me to stop playing mid song to see if I was actually playing ffr which I did. Apparently now he wants me to do a skit where a couple of people will play ffr do really bad at it then I come in and do amazing. He will try to talk to people and I will talk (beg) the school to bring the projector down so I can use it. The only thing that that he can think of off of the top of his head is using TV's and the TV's at my school are wayyyyy to small for the auditorium.
Edit: I PLAY SO GOOD I'M "FAKE" FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE I DONT KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THAT.

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
did u memorize the arrows???
a skit sounds kinda dumb tbh I don't really understand the point of it, is watching other people sucking beforehand supposed to increase your validity or something Last edited by One Winged Angel; 12-21-2015 at 05:47 PM.. |

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
Ya I memorized the arrows for Vertex beta as a backup but I was going to play serenade.
and tbh I do agree with you that a ffr skit sounds really dumb besides that fact that I might have to play on a really small tv. I will just have to wait and see what is going to happen tomorrow.

Re: Playing FFR at a talent show
Skit idea will just make the other 2 kids look like shit, not a good idea IMO. I don't like Vertex Beta as a song choice, it's 3 mins of literally nothing but stream. Very bland...
