I couldn't possibly agree more with this. The day FFR moves away from being conservative is the day when we can really start pushing a higher level of quality files. An besides, community events are damn fun. On a side note, I'm only submitting 2 this month and will submit 1 next month, I'm in Cali this week and prefer not to rush files haha.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
All of this legacy v2 talk reminded me that I've had the mp3 for Lethal Injection just sitting there on my laptop. Maybe I'll actually do something with it. :>

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
The originals shouldn't be the ones that are tokens. Especially considering how many of the originals we already have v2s for where the v2s are already tokens or purchased, and it'd be very annoying to some people to change it at this point. And the skill token requirements would be required to be changed since many of them require you to play the original song. But I am otherwise for making v2s of the legacy songs.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
A new Lethal Injection would probably be good. As long as it doesn't have a background it'll probably be better than the old one.
Also I just submitted the songs I tried in the easy batch. They are massively improved. I fixed the bpm, gap, stupid jacks, the bad 64th roll, notes in wrong places, a few other things, and got rid of those stupidly long stretches everywhere where I didn't have any notes. I'm very eager to get to see the results of this batch. And I figure it'll fill up quickly now since most people have submissions since a new 2-month period just started. So submit files faster so that I can see my results sooner, and also so that you can get them into this batch so that you see your results sooner.

Flew into SanBar, right meow driving to Fresco to pick up another person then driving up to Pinecrest. Friend has a cabin up there. I'll be in SanFran on the 9th-13th I think? Where are you at?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Eh, I personally feel that BV v2 can quite easily be done in a sufficient manner as long as you have a better mp3 file. I'm certain that many people can come up with a much more accurate/current chart -- I say that Razor should try and do it again.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I'm sure it can. I guess i see BV as one of those hallowed FFR files of yore, almost sacred!

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I thought the worst files were:
All of Synthlight's auto generated stuff like Terror from Beyond Revolutionary Etude Silence Party 4u v1 (and maybe v2) Caprice Hellbeat For FFR Mega Man II Dr. Wily Theme #1 Rondo Alla Turca Vertex Beta vrofl if it counts, although it wasn't intended to be good. And worst of all, Chrono Trigger, although it's gone now. It had 8 notes that were so horrible because they were zero framers and might have even been 3 notes in the same spot they were just so ridiculous.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
He was the one that had plans on doing a v2 for that song in the first place, but someone else submitted a v2 (and it didn't get in).
