Yeah, I've played in IRC as well, it does work, but it's not nearly as fun as a Google Hangout sesh would be.

I meant too much typing going on - can't really see what's happening or dedicate time to think. Text quickly flashes onto the screen and there's nothing to really think about.

Everyone make sure you've got the hangouts app installed. You'll receive an email or notification asking you to join and google+ hangouts session.
