FFR forums, the place where veteran simfile makers are always right because they've been around longer. I'm done with this argument, if you don't like it go make your own pack. I put a lot of time and effort into doing these packs and if you can't be civil then I want nothing to do with you or your files.

you're the one who can't be civil. you're really bad at taking criticism and you massively over react to people telling you like it is, even if it is rude (which it really wasn't). ask any high level player and they will all say that mines after notes are harder to deal with. play cetaka's dream to nightmare file, for example, and tell me that the file would be harder with the mines before the notes because i'm pretty sure it wouldn't be.

dude i'm on your side with regards to the whole mine placement thing, but you gotta remember that packs and their respective quality are entirely up to the people running them.

no one really gave a shit when glove made people tune their files to his tastes for odi3. i mean yeah, glove's insight is definitely more refined and based around years of making files, no questioning that, but ultimately what goes into a pack and what's "allowed" and "not allowed" is up to the whims of the pack's creator

i didn't throw a fit when a file of mine got cut out because the xmod gimmicks would fuck with a lot of peoples' stepmania builds. chill.

mines don't fuck up sm builds, just sm scores

people didn't get mad at glove tweaking files because the people who sent files to odi3 and got them even close to accepted were experienced simfile artists

my point is dude, the person who controls the quality of the pack is the person running it. even if said person's definition of "quality" doesn't match up with the standard. you can't really fight that

if you wanna control it let's make our own pack

And to put all this stuff to an end, we have our own quality control standards, I'm not going to accept file just because someone with a lot of experience made it. Now seriously, its done. If anyone has any beef with me here anymore take it up over PM or Skype, its clogging up this thread for no good reason.

it's pretty clear you don't know how mines work or you're just bad at stepmania. everything choof screen capped isn't hard to hit at all and i don't need to "playtest it" to see that. you don't have any objective basis to say that those sections are hard to hit and you are simply being biased against them.
