Re: offset!
I just had this problem, but it's now solved for me. How? I don't know. It certainly wasn't after opening and closing the engine a few times. It just came back eventually after several tries.
A bigger issue though is this: the offset seems to be saved within each gameplay, even if you change it. For example, I usually have my offsets at -1 (and it's saved as that). For a few songs, I change it to -2 or -3. After playing a song with a different offset, I return to the main menu and go to settings. The offset automatically returns to -1 for some reason. Note that this is within one sitting. Not when you log on and off the engine. Random question: why does the speedmod function require a separate button to "activate" your selection, whereas the offset function only requires the typing in of your speedmod value? Make it consistent: either both should have buttons, or neither. I would think that a button for each function would -solidify- your actions. So when you type in -1 offset and press the button, it really IS changed. On the other hand, it's a tad more convenient to go without a button. Last edited by bmah; 03-26-2011 at 07:52 PM.. |

Speed requires taking the number, and times it by 310 to get the c speed. The reason the offset doesn't save is cause it doesn't even try to save it. My bad. |

Re: offset!
so apparantely, from messing around with stuff, the offset only saves when you click the speed modifier button thing.
