Re: FFR's Live Stream Thread~
Oh, sure I can tell ya!
My setup is pretty much using Xsplit + FME (Flash Media Encoder). But you can just use Xsplit for the most part, FME for me is just something extra that makes it less CPU stressful. Xsplit though is not free. You can still use it though in its trial version, but it's limited. Limited as in you can't have a high resolution (Anything above 720p), and can't have more than 25 FPS (Which is fine since 25 is close to any movie's 24 FPS.). I'm assuming you're going to use Justin/Twitch, Xsplit will give you an option to connect your Justin/Twitch account to Xsplit allowing Xsplit to talk to the server so you can start streaming away. That should be the basic though on how to start streaming. But when you stream, please take in account on the audio and adjust accordingly so that game audio doesn't over power your voice if you're commentating. EDIT: Or just look at what Mr. Privacy linked, that's pretty much a more indept version of what I just went through, dohohoho.

Re: FFR's Live Stream Thread~
Already make a Twitch.tv account a little while back when watching Siglemic, so I figured I'll join in this streaming hype.
http://www.twitch.tv/foxfire667 Pretty sure I got all the audio kinks out, and FFR runs seamlessly for me while I'm streaming! I might leave it on whenever I'm online playing FFR if it stays that way. I'll probably also fix up my profile and other things if the streaming is successful for longer periods of time.

I don't stream that often, mostly because bad internet = bad stream, but I do try. Large variety of games, pretty much w/e I feel like doing. |

Re: FFR's Live Stream Thread~
Also, if you all don't mind editing posts when you finish streaming, that'd be helpful so people don't have to wonder if you're still streaming or not

Also, DXtory is helpful if you're playing games that use DX9-10-11/Open Gl (Which is pretty much every game that's not flash, haha.) |
