Re: Party 4u v1...
Triples are a 3-set of consecutive notes (usually 16th or faster) with a missing 4th note. (Night of Flight)
Triplets are a music pattern that either is or resembles a fast 3/4 time. (beginning of UNknown Girl) Hands are 3 simultaneous arrows. (Lightfoot, o wait this wasn't accepted rofl)

singles, doubles, triples, quads.
It's just a different way of saying the same thing without using DDR/ITG terminology. There are no absolute definitions.

Re: Party 4u v1...
The beginning of UNknown Girl is actually NOT supposed to be triplets.
But yeah, I would like to see what v1 looked like.

Re: Party 4u v1...
Purchased Genre for lots and lots of credits. I would personally love to play it but if i remember in a thread Tass stated it was more of a joke file.

Re: Party 4u v1...
I don't think the file itself was ingame-worthy at all (meh super random hands and 0-framers aka glitched arrows), but it's quite weird that we don't have V1 in the game.
so current V2 could be V1, and current V3 could be V2. |

Re: Party 4u v1...
I thought the file had a bunch of one-framers IIRC but I am probably wrong.
The file's prob. crap though.

Re: Party 4u v1...
It extended beyond that. I read the announcement that was posted when this was released it, and IIRC, the exact reason they removed it was because of the hands/quads, but for a different reason mentioned here: it was because indexers couldn't hit those patterns with only two fingers (at the time the file was released, the only two styles anybody really played were index and one handed).
However, a lot of people's keyboards, such as my own, can't take input from those anyways. I personally disagree with them being added now, although I can understand people wanting the extra challenge after the avmiss fix. ~Bynary Fission

Re: Party 4u v1...
I don't think a lot of people thought about that. Then again, I wasn't around during that era.
Ps. Hi Patashu!

Re: Party 4u v1...
It would be cool to see this as a token, even if it's awful. If not, though, how about putting it up as a widget song? Maybe there could be some kind of 'historic songs' widget with a couple of songs that used to be on FFR but aren't anymore. Like P4uv1 and that 3086-note version of ==Planet KARMA==. I dunno, just an idea...

Nah, just forget about the whole operation. Its not worth it.
If its crap, then no one wants to play it. Right?

Re: Party 4u v1...
Making it a purchased song would be nice, but then it would affect rank.
Why not just make it a regular token, the kind you have to hunt around for to unlock, with the clue post explaining the history behind the file. And I know we still have the file, we still have the Captain Jack steps. |

Re: Party 4u v1...
No, since it's a Party 4u song, you can't make it an achievement token. Make it a difficult skill token that involves playing both V2 and V3 of Party 4u. Perhaps BF/AAA both songs in a row or something? Something like the Sonata skill token but with stricter requirements.

Re: Party 4u v1...
Not TOO hard if the file isn't the best. And I didn't mean achievement token, I meant token token. As in find this link token.

Re: Party 4u v1...
Better yet, make it a really cheap support token. Like, $1 or so. Or a special bonus added to subbie accounts.

Re: Party 4u v1...
It isn't even on the server anymore or i'd make a video of it. I am pretty sure like most files that old, it sucks.
