I need a new game

Okay, so I need help in deciding what new game I should get. It could be an old classic, or a new release. Truth be told I haven't really played a lot of games.

Now here is the catch: I only have an Xbox360, a 3DS and a Mac. (In before mac jokes)

So I guess, give me your favorites and why. I'm a fan of multilayer games, open world, racing. Nothing with monthly fee's.

Just Cause 2 Multiplayer. The game itself is great, I've heard good things about the multiplayer (haven't tried it myself but it looks nice). I just don't know if you can play it on a Mac.

dark souls II just came out but you could get the first for cheap and they are both fantastic open world rpg games that are incredibly challenging if you're into that

Dark Souls 2 is a staple. If you didn't play Dark Souls 1 I would suggest playing it first but only because it's just so damn good in itself. I'd prefer to play them in order but it wouldn't really change your experience with either game much.

what the FUCK how long has this been a thing? JC2 is one of my favorites, and I can't even imagine how fun multiplayer on it would be.

You could pick up the new Professor Layton game. Good buy If you want something that you can play casually. It is essentially a game of puzzles. The more you answer, the further you get into the plot of whatever mystery he is trying to solve. Some are actually pretty challenging.

graphics are actually kinda good now (welcome to 2014)
easy to learn, interactive tutorials.
YEARS of content (1000+ hours of quests alone, some of which are voice acted).
playerbase is not too many and not too few.
money making [can be] easy.
world map is huge, and traversing it is quite easy.

CONs:
80% of the content is on the members' side (100% of upper-level content).
players can kinda be dicks sometimes.
it's a game that favors the wealthy (in-game wealth).

try two worlds and the sequel two worlds II, i like it cuz open world and many things to do and kill and stuff. its fun go play it, i like you.

More on topic: I've enjoyed Ridge Racer on 3ds. I'd whole-heartedly suggest Monster Hunter 3U, but the multiplayer is kinda sad for 3ds owners (only supports local). Still, monster hunter is a game with many great challenges.
